Fasteners E-commerce & Specification Catalogue Software

A specification-led catalogue for fastener sellers, with filters across thread, length, grade and finish. Items sell by piece, pack, box or weight, with minimum orders and a batch record. A commerce system chosen at scoping carries it.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

A commerce system selected at scoping holds the fastener catalogue, with a specification model and weight handling added to it. No existing GullySystem product covers fastener catalogues.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The catalogue is the product. A buyer must reach one item among thousands without reading long descriptions, and a seller must be able to load the thousands without typing each one by hand.

It does not certify material or test strength. It records the certificate a supplier issued and attaches it to the batch.

Modules

What is in the system.

Specification model

Fields for thread, pitch, length, head, drive, material, grade and finish.

Filters

Combined filters that reduce thousands of items to a few.

Units and minimums

Piece, pack, box and weight. Minimums too.

Batch record

Supplier batch and certificate linked to stock.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Search to order

A buyer filters across fields, picks a unit and orders within the minimum. It takes a few steps, and each step narrows the list.

Batch to certificate

A batch arrives with a certificate. Both are saved and shown with the stock sold from it.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Families

Bolts, nuts, screws, washers and anchors each with their own fields.

Standards

The standard each item follows, held as a field.

Photographs and drawings

A drawing or image per family, not per item.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Price by unit

A price for each unit an item sells in.

Breaks and minimums

Price breaks by pack, box and weight, so a larger buyer sees a lower unit price as the quantity grows.

Purchase orders

Held on the order for industrial buyers.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Stock by batch

Counts by batch where a certificate applies.

Weighed packing

Packing by weight, with a check against the order before the bag is sealed and the label printed for the carrier.

Dispatch

Weight-based carrier rates.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Account terms for industrial buyers and online payment for others.

Returns

Wrong-item returns checked against the order.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Editors manage fields. Packing sees orders only.

Reports

Sales by family, fast movers and import errors.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Supplier sheets

Bulk import from range files.

Stock system

Linked by export or API once verified.

Carriers

Added once each confirms its rates.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Configured build

Opened under your ownership on a commerce system selected at scoping.

Family by family

One family loaded and tested before the next.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is there a ready fastener catalogue product?

No. The catalogue is configured to your range.

How many items can it hold?

That depends on the commerce system chosen. We check its limits against your range first.

Who checks imported data?

A review step shows errors before anything is published, and your editor signs off.
