Home Storage E-commerce & Order Management Software

This solution is an online store for storage and organisation products, configured around dimension data, variants and kits. It suits makers, importers and retailers who sell by size and set. It prices delivery from packed volume, tracks cartons per order and links to stock where a shop or warehouse system exists.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

No GullySystem product runs an online storage store today. The store is set up on whichever platform discovery selects, and the showroom product can sit behind it where a retail floor exists.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The aim is a catalogue that answers the buyer’s first question, whether it fits, and an order record that carries every carton and component through to delivery.

It covers the storefront, trade ordering, stock by variant, shipping rules and returns. It does not manufacture, warehouse or deliver goods, and it does not measure the buyer’s space.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront

A consumer store with size filters, set builders and a measuring guide, plus a trade login where needed.

Product data

Dimensions, capacity, load limit, material and fixing method held as fields on every product.

Variants and kits

Colour and size options for one design, and kits that draw stock from component parts.

Orders and cartons

One order with several cartons, each tracked from packing to delivery.

Returns

Return reasons that update the right stock line and flag repeat problems.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Choose, check, buy

A buyer filters by measurement, picks a set, sees the delivery charge for its packed size and pays.

Pack and ship

Warehouse staff pick every component, record the cartons and book the carrier.

Trade quotation

A builder requests a quantity, receives a quote at agreed rates and converts it into an order.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Measurements

Outer size, inner size, depth and load limit are separate fields, so filters and comparisons use real numbers.

Fit information

Compatible wardrobe widths, shelf depths or mounting surfaces are listed per product where the seller supplies them.

Parts and add-ons

Lids, dividers and brackets are linked to the items that take them.

Photographs and guides

Scale photographs and downloadable fixing instructions sit with each product.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Set and pack pricing

A set of three can cost less than three singles, and the rule is stored once.

Trade rates

Registered trade buyers see quantity breaks and agreed rates that others do not.

Delivery charge

Calculated from packed volume and weight, then shown before payment.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Stock by variant

Every size and colour is a stock line, and kits count against their parts.

Cartons per order

Large products leave in several cartons, and each carton is tracked.

Scheduled stock updates

If the warehouse system refreshes only at set times, the store says so and keeps stock aside during checkout.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Online collection runs through a provider of your choice, and part payments or advances sit on the order record.

Return reasons

Wrong size, missing part and damage are logged apart, so patterns show up by product and supplier.

Refunds and replacements

A missing part is sent on its own. A full return is refunded against the original payment after inspection.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Merchandisers, warehouse staff, support and the trade desk each get their own screens.

Approvals

A trade discount or a large order is held for a named approver. The decision is stored on the order.

Reports

Stock by variant, returns by reason and supplier, shipping cost against charge, and trade quotations by status.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Showroom product

Connects to the furniture showroom product from GullySystem when a shop floor also sells the range, after scope is agreed.

Payment provider

Wired to the provider you pick once its access, fees and settlement terms have been read through.

Freight carriers

Rate lookup and parcel tracking for carriers that take bulky goods, once each carrier grants access.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosting

Set up and looked after by us on managed servers, or placed inside a cloud account your company owns.

Phased release

A single product family opens first. The rest of the catalogue follows once stock and shipping charges hold.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Product fields, set rules, shipping tables and return reasons are adapted to your range, and the theme takes your brand colours.

Where the edge is

Product safety, material claims and labelling are yours to specify. The software shows what you supply.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing the data over

Product sheets, dimensions and stock counts are loaded, then compared with a physical sample.

Training

Short sessions for merchandisers, the warehouse and support, using your own products.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

A written support note lists what is covered: defect fixes, minor edits and questions from staff, with named contacts.

Outside scope

Extra marketplaces, additional markets and bigger changes receive their own quotation.

Subcategory coverage

Where each home storage & organisation subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Wardrobe Organisers

    Covered on this page

Fit fields, add-on links and bundles are variant and kit features the category solution already provides.

  • Shelving

    Its own solution page

A size must become a parts list and a quote, with multi-carton dispatch and fitting, which a variant-based store cannot do.

  • Storage Boxes

    Covered on this page

Families, sets, pack multiples and volume shipping are all covered by the variant and kit tools of the category solution.

  • Laundry Storage

    Covered on this page

A retail and trade route with quotations and variants is part of the category solution, so no separate system is needed.

  • Bathroom Organisers

    Covered on this page

Mounting fields, finish-matched sets and kit stock are variant and part features the category solution already covers.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Can we install this as it stands?

No. The store is configured per seller, after discovery shows what the range and the warehouse need.

What does it cost, and can we try it first?

No price list, trial or live demo is published. What is covered, and what it costs, comes in a written proposal after discovery.

Can it work out the fit for a customer’s room?

No. It stores your fit data and shows it. The buyer’s own measurements are theirs to take.

Does it connect to our marketplace listings?

Where the marketplace offers a supported connection, that can be scoped. We check access and terms first.
