Expense Reports for Owners and Accounts Teams
These reports read the claims, advances and batches already recorded. They show spend by head, by customer and by branch, and they list what is pending or unsettled.
Spend read from the claim record
Every report is built from entries made when the money was spent. Because the head, branch and customer are chosen on the claim, no one has to sort a month of receipts afterwards, and owners and accounts read the same figures. What a report shows depends on who is signed in to read it.
The reports
Who acts on them
Accounts works from pending claims, outstanding advances and the GST list. Reporting managers work from claims waiting on them. Owners read spend by head, by site and by branch, and what the quarter’s travel cost. Your CA reads the GST list before deciding what is eligible for credit.
What the figures reflect
A report reflects what has been recorded. A claim that is not yet filed, or a bill that is not yet entered, will not appear in it. What is eligible as input tax credit is your CA’s decision and not a figure the system gives. Reports beyond this list are scoped with you.
Frequently asked questions
Can spend be read for one customer?
Yes. Each expense is tagged to a customer, site, project, vehicle or branch, so spend can be read by any of them.
Does the GST report decide what we can claim?
No. It lists the GSTIN, invoice number and tax from each bill. What is eligible is for your CA to decide.
Can reports go to Excel?
Excel and CSV are among the formats the system connects to, and the reports available for export are agreed with you at set-up.
Are the figures live?
They read the claims as recorded, so they change as claims are filed, approved and paid.
