Appointment Scheduling for Veterinary Clinics
Appointment scheduling covers consultations, vaccinations and surgery, with reminders before each visit. Every vet has a day list, and the front desk sees all of them together.
Booking against vet sessions
Each vet’s sessions are set up once, and bookable slots exist only inside those sessions, so the front desk never has to remember who sits on which evening. A booking for a vet who is not sitting that day cannot be made. The slot list is the only list.
Visit types and the day’s list
Emergencies
Emergency arrivals do not book, and they push the rest of the list back. The desk cannot change that. What it gets is an accurate view of who is waiting and for how long, so owners can be told what to expect.
Frequently asked questions
Can owners book online?
Yes. Owners book through the portal against the same free slots, and the booking appears on the desk’s screen straight away.
Can grooming be booked in the same book?
Yes, as a service with its own slot length. Nothing else in the module is grooming-specific, so a grooming-only business would suit a simpler booking tool.
What happens with no-shows?
They are recorded, and the count by day is one of the reports. Staff can see an owner’s missed visits before holding a busy slot for them.
Can each vet see only their own day?
Yes. Each vet opens their own list, and the front desk sees all lists together.
