White-Label Platform Development

One underlying platform sold or delivered under several different brand identities, each with its own domain, theme and pricing, controlled centrally. GullySystem builds the branding layer that lets one product wear many names.

Overview

White-labelling means one platform is presented as if it were several different products, each carrying a different company's name, logo, colours and domain, while running on shared code and infrastructure. It is used by agencies reselling a platform under their own brand, franchise networks, and companies offering a partner-branded version of their product.

What a White-Label Layer Needs

Per-Brand Domains

Each brand reachable on its own domain or subdomain, with the underlying platform invisible to the end user.

Theming and Content Control

Logo, colours, copy and email templates configurable per brand from a central back office, without a code change for each new one.

Independent Pricing per Brand

Each brand able to set its own plans and pricing where the business model calls for it, distinct from the platform's own pricing.

A Central Operator View

One place for you to see and manage every brand running on the platform, while each brand's own users see only their own instance.

White-Label and Multi-Tenancy Together

White-labelling is almost always built on the multi-tenant architecture covered on its own page — each brand is effectively a tenant, with an added branding and domain layer on top. If you need multiple brands but each brand serving only one organisation, that is a simpler configuration problem than a true multi-tenant, multi-customer white-label platform.

Who Builds This

  • An agency reselling a platform it operates under each client's own name
  • A franchise network giving every franchisee a branded version of one shared system
  • A company offering a co-branded or partner-branded edition of its own product
  • A group entity running the same operational system under several trading names
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is white-labelling the same as multi-tenancy?

They are closely related but not identical. Multi-tenancy, covered on its own page, is about keeping each customer's data separate on shared infrastructure. White-labelling adds a branding layer on top — different logos, domains and pricing per brand — and is usually built using multi-tenant foundations.

How many brands can the platform support?

There is no fixed technical ceiling; it depends on how the branding and domain configuration is designed. We build the system so adding a new brand is a configuration step, not a development project, once the platform itself is live.

Can each brand have completely different pricing and features?

Yes, within whatever limits you define centrally. Each brand can be given its own plan structure and feature set, controlled from your central back office rather than requiring a separate deployment.

What drives the cost of a white-label build?

The underlying platform's complexity, how deep the per-brand customisation goes beyond logo and colour, and whether multi-tenant architecture already exists or needs to be built as part of this project.

What decides how long it takes to add white-labelling?

Whether the platform is built new or white-labelling is added to an existing product, and how much of the branding and configuration needs to be self-service versus set up by you directly for each new brand.

Can an existing single-brand product be converted to white-label?

Yes, though it typically requires the same tenant-separation work described on our multi-tenant platforms page, plus adding the domain and theming layer, which is a defined but non-trivial piece of engineering.

Who owns the platform and each brand's configuration?

You do, as the platform owner. Source code, database and brand configuration are yours, and how you license or manage individual brands from there is a business decision on your side.
