Software Solutions for Card Game Sellers
Card games are cheap, light and bought in several at a time, so the shipping charge can outweigh the product. A store for them needs bundles, basket rules, trade cartons and clear handling of alternate decks and sealed packs.
Sell low-value decks in volume without shipping costs eating the order.
A deck weighs little and costs little. Most orders hold several decks, and the profit depends on what the basket and the parcel look like together.
Online card and party game sellers
A seller lists many small decks and ships by post or courier in bundles.
Publishers selling direct
A publisher sells its own decks online and to shops by carton.
Retailers adding a card range
A gift or stationery shop lists card games alongside other lines.
The workflow for card games.
- 1
List the deck and its variants
A deck is listed with player count and age band, and with alternate card backs or language versions as variants.
- 2
Build the basket by weight
Basket rules combine decks into one parcel and apply the delivery charge set for that parcel size.
- 3
Pack small parcels
Decks are packed together in a padded envelope or box, with the parcel weighed against the order.
- 4
Fill a trade carton
A shop orders by carton of a fixed number of decks at the trade rate.
- 5
Handle a sealed-pack return
An unopened deck goes back on the shelf. An opened one is checked for missing cards before any credit.
The challenges, and what they cost.
What is specific to this trade.
These are requirements we would confirm in discovery. They describe what the solution may need to handle. They are not features that already exist.
- Parcel weight and delivery charge rules tied to the basket
- Variants kept as separate stock lines
- Trade cartons with a fixed deck count
- A returns rule that treats sealed and opened decks differently
What we would build for card games.
Chosen from the commerce capabilities this business needs, not a list of everything.
Who works in the system, and what each can do.
What it would connect to.
An integration is confirmed only after its API, access and scope are checked. A connection that updates on a schedule is described as scheduled, not real-time.
- A gateway account whose fees suit small basket values
- A postal or courier service for light parcels, linked after its rate card is reviewed
- The accounts package your bookkeeper uses, fed by a periodic file
How the work runs, and what we need from you.
What you provide
- Your range with barcodes and variants
- Parcel weights and the rate card you pay
- Carton sizes and trade rates
Fix the basket rules first
We settle the minimum basket, bundles and delivery rule, since low-value orders live or die by them.
Test with a mixed basket
A sample order of several decks and variants is placed to check weight, charge and packing.
What you receive.
- Basket and bundle rules
- Variant stock structure
- Trade carton ordering
- Training for the packing team
How progress is judged.
Measures are agreed against your own baseline. We do not promise a result in advance.
- Single-deck orders shipped at a loss
- Variant mix-ups at packing
Selling at home and abroad.
Light parcels can go by post or courier in many markets, and the cost depends on the carrier’s rate card. Duties on small consignments are checked by your adviser for each country.

Configured implementation
No existing GullySystem product runs a games and puzzles store. The storefront, catalogue and order flows are assembled on the platform you and we select in discovery. Trade ordering can draw on an existing wholesale product.
Basket rules, variants and carton ordering sit comfortably inside the category solution, and no separate data model is needed.

Questions about card games e-commerce.
Can we set a minimum order?
Yes. A minimum basket or a bundle offer is a setting, and the store shows it before checkout.
Can shops order by carton?
Yes. A trade login shows cartons and the prices fixed for that shop, and the order is rounded to full cartons.
Can the system prove a deck left complete?
No. It records a weight and a photograph at packing if you choose to take them, but it cannot count the cards in a sealed deck.
