One Member, One Ticket, One Running Balance
A member record is a person. A ticket is that person in one group. Keeping the two apart is what stops a payment landing in the wrong group.
The person and the seat are two different things
Your member record holds the member code, mobile number, PAN, Aadhaar, occupation and income, the nominee, the bank account and IFSC for a payout, and which agent brought them in. A ticket holds where that person sits in one group.
Several tickets, one person
A regular subscriber may hold a ticket in three of your groups. Each ticket has its own number, its own dues and its own balance.
Guarantor on the ticket
Guarantor and security details are recorded against the ticket, not the person. The security that backs a prize in one group has nothing to do with another.
The agent who introduced them
Members are linked to the agent who brought them. When the agent collects at their door, the ticket is already his to work.
The nominee, asked once
Nominee details sit on the member record from enrolment. Nobody hunts for them at the worst possible moment.
Why the balance belongs to the ticket
Every due is raised against a ticket and every receipt is applied to a ticket. So a subscriber who is clear in one group and three months behind in another shows exactly that. The defaulters list stops being a list of names and becomes a list of tickets, which is what your agent can actually collect against.
Where it stops
- The ledger opens per ticket, so a member holding three tickets is read three times
- A subscriber can be taken off a group only while it is still filling, and the removal is logged with who did it and when
- Bank account and IFSC are typed in by your staff, and a wrong digit is a wrong digit until somebody checks it
Frequently asked questions
Can one person hold tickets in more than one group?
Yes, one ticket in each. A regular subscriber may sit in three of your groups, and every ticket carries its own dues, its own dividend and its own balance. Inside a single group a member holds one ticket, so the seat and the person cannot be confused.
What if a subscriber drops out halfway?
While the group is still filling, you take them off it and the removal goes into the audit log with your name against it. Once the group is locked and running, the seat is part of the maths and the screen will not let it be removed. What you agree with him then, and who sits in that seat, is settled off screen.
Does the agent see every member?
An agent works the members linked to him and records collections against their tickets. Logins are given out by your admin, so what each person opens is your decision.
