Cycling E-commerce Software for Cycle Sellers

A cycle store or dealer catalogue built around the questions riders ask: which frame size, how much is assembled, and what fits what. It handles bulky cartons, pre-delivery checks and warranty records, and it states plainly where the software stops short.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

No existing GullySystem product runs an online cycle store. The storefront, size guidance, assembly options and fitment lookups are configured on a platform selected with you, and a cycle maker’s dealer ordering can reuse an existing wholesale product.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

A rider buying online cannot sit on the bicycle. The listing has to carry frame size, rider height range and how much assembly is left, and the shop has to be ready to correct a wrong guess.

The software covers the storefront, fitment data, orders, dispatch and warranty records. It does not fit a rider, assemble a bicycle or inspect safety. Those are done by people in the workshop.

Modules

What is in the system.

Frame and size guide

Rider height ranges and frame geometry on every bicycle, with a chart for each brand.

Assembly options

Boxed, partly assembled or fully assembled, each with its own price and dispatch method.

Fitment data

Wheel size, axle, brake and drivetrain standards linked to parts and bicycles.

Workshop jobs

Pre-delivery inspection, assembly and first-service jobs raised from the order.

Dealer catalogue

Dealer rates, carton quantities and minimum orders kept apart from the shop.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Choose and order

A rider picks a bicycle by height and use, selects the assembly level and a delivery or pickup option, and pays.

Workshop to door

The workshop assembles and inspects the bicycle against a checklist, and the order moves to dispatch with the checklist attached.

Parts search

A rider enters a bicycle model or a standard and sees only the parts that fit.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Geometry and sizing

Frame size, rider height range, wheel size and weight on each bicycle.

Standards

Fitment standards held as fields on parts and bicycles, so the search can match them.

Variants

Colour, size and battery or gear options as variants with separate stock.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Assembly pricing

Assembly and inspection offered as options with their own charge.

Bundles

A bicycle with a helmet and lights priced together while each part keeps its own stock.

Dealer rates

A dealer’s price list is visible to that dealer alone, with a carton minimum applied.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Bulky dispatch

Carton size, weight and the carrier’s limits recorded for each bicycle.

Serial and frame numbers

Frame numbers recorded at sale, for warranty and theft reports.

Stock by variant

Frame size and colour counted separately, since each sells on its own.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Checkout

Payment through your provider’s checkout, with stages for expensive bicycles.

Returns

Parts return by post. Bicycles return after an inspection, and an assembled one follows your own rule.

Warranty

Warranty start and terms recorded against the frame number.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Reports

Sales and returns by frame size, parts with fitment gaps and workshop jobs by stage.

Access

Editors, desk, mechanics and dealers each work in a view made for them.

Approvals

Discounts and dealer credit are approved by a named person.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Dealer ordering product

GullySystem’s existing wholesale ordering software can run the dealer side where that is in scope.

Couriers and freight

Carriers for cartons and for assembled bicycles, each tried on a sample booking.

Accounting

Sales and purchases handed to your books by file, or by a connection sized with your accountant.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosting

We can host it, or you can use your own cloud account.

Stages

Accessories and helmets open first, bicycles and parts follow as the data is cleaned.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Adjustable

Size charts, assembly options, fitment fields and workshop checklists follow your practice.

Not covered

Bicycle fitting, safety inspection and repairs remain workshop work done by trained staff.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Importing the catalogue

Bicycles, parts, fitment standards and stock come from your sheets and are tallied with a physical count.

Practice

Editors, the desk and mechanics rehearse an order from click to delivery.

Support scope

What support covers.

Covered

The agreement lists included fixes, small changes and support hours, with a named contact.

Extra

New channels, further categories and larger redesigns are quoted separately.

Subcategory coverage

Where each cycling subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Bicycles

    Covered on this page

Frame sizing, assembly levels and a workshop checklist fit the category solution’s options, so a separate page would repeat it.

  • Electric Bicycles

    Its own solution page

Batteries, motors and frames each need their own serial and warranty, and battery shipping rules shape dispatch, so the record differs from a plain bicycle.

  • Bicycle Parts

    Its own solution page

Standards, cross-references and dependency checks make a compatibility database that ordinary product records cannot hold.

  • Helmets

    Covered on this page

Size variants, a marking field and a replacement flow fit in the category solution, and helmets need no separate system.

  • Cycling Accessories

    Covered on this page

Fit fields, basket suggestions and bundles are standard attributes and options in the category solution.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Do we get a ready-made cycle store?

No. The store is put together for your range after discovery, on a platform chosen with you.

Is a price sheet or a trial available?

No. A written proposal gives cost and scope. No public price sheet or trial account exists.

Can it tell a rider which frame size to buy?

Only from the height ranges and charts you enter. It does not measure the rider.
