Respiratory Protection E-commerce & Compatibility Software

This solution lists masks, filters and cartridges with the pairings the maker states, so a buyer can order only compatible parts. Each batch’s expiry date sits on the stock line and appears again on the pick list. Issue records link items to named workers. Nothing is finished until discovery fixes the scope.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

The store takes its shape from the platform that discovery selects. Mask-and-filter compatibility, batch and expiry fields and issue records are added wherever that platform has room for them. Gaps are named in the proposal.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

A respirator is a system: a mask, a filter and a fit. The store holds the pairings the maker states. A mismatch cannot be ordered. That is its main job.

It does not advise on respirator selection or perform fit tests. It stores the maker’s declared ratings and any test outcomes the buyer’s own team enters.

Modules

What is in the system.

Compatibility matrix

Which cartridges and filters belong with which masks, copied from the maker’s lists.

Batch and expiry

Dates held per batch, shown at pick and on the delivery note.

Pack counts

Disposable respirators by box, filters by pair, masks by piece.

Worker issue record

Items issued to named workers with their mask size and any fit-test date entered.

Replacement reminders

A list of filters and masks nearing their replacement date.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Order only compatible parts

A buyer picks a mask, and the store offers only the filters that fit it. Incompatible parts are never shown together, which keeps the basket honest from the start.

Expiry and replacement

Stock is picked by earliest expiry, and the buyer receives, at a rhythm it chooses, a list of masks and filters that are due to be replaced in the coming weeks.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Compatibility links

Each filter is linked to the masks it fits.

Mask sizes

Sizes are recorded so a mask can be matched to a worker’s record.

Documents

Maker datasheets and instructions are attached to the product.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Pack pricing

Prices by box, pair or piece, and by quantity band.

Contract rates

Account customers see their own prices.

Approval

Large orders wait for a named safety or purchase approver.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Batch-wise stock

Each receipt is recorded by batch and expiry date at the goods-in desk, before stock is released for sale.

Earliest expiry first

The pick list directs the packer to the oldest valid stock. Expired lines are blocked.

Short-dated lines

Lines near expiry are listed. What happens to them, whether an offer, a discount or a write-off, is your decision.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Online payment for small orders and account billing for contracts.

Returns

Opened or damaged items are logged. Whether they return to stock is a decision for a person.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Expiry report

Stock and customer items by expiry date.

Issue report

Items issued by worker, department and replacement due date, for the buyer’s safety officer to review once a quarter or as often as it likes.

Dealer-order software

Contract rates and dispatch can come from it where it fits your trade.

Maker data

Compatibility lists are imported where makers supply them in a usable form.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosting

Either on our infrastructure or on cloud space that you rent directly.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Compatibility rules, date fields and reminder periods follow your range.

Where the edge is

Selection, fit testing and medical clearance stay with the buyer and its advisers. The system stores their outputs and the maker’s declarations, and no more than that.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading pairings

Maker compatibility sheets are entered or imported, and a sample is checked line by line by your own technical staff before the store opens to buyers.

Training

Sales and the stores learn compatibility and expiry picking on live stock.

Support scope

What support covers.

Cover

The agreement sets out who handles faults and when they can be reached.

Beyond cover

New product lines and extra reports are quoted as separate work.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does it choose the right respirator?

No. Choice belongs to the buyer’s safety officer. The system prevents incompatible pairings that the maker’s own lists rule out.

Can it record fit tests?

It can store a date and result that the buyer enters. It does not carry out or certify tests.

Is there a ready package for respirator sellers?

No. Each seller’s version is assembled from a platform plus the compatibility and date rules above.
