Fall Protection E-commerce & Equipment Register Software

This solution records every harness, lanyard and anchor by serial number. Sales are linked to the buyer’s sites and workers, inspection dates are scheduled and recorded, and units are retired when the maker’s limits are reached. It is written to order, as the register and inspection trail have no existing equivalent.

Product status

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

No GullySystem product keeps a serial-wise register of fall-protection equipment with inspection history, so this is written for you. The dealer-order software can still carry contract sales of other PPE.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

Fall-protection kit is individual. Each unit has a serial number, a date of first use and an inspection history that decides whether it stays in service.

The system keeps that record. It does not inspect equipment, set intervals or judge condition. Those come from the maker’s instructions and the buyer’s competent person. Each entry is stamped with the person who recorded it.

Modules

What is in the system.

Serial register

Every harness, lanyard, lifeline and anchor with serial, batch and date of first use.

Inspection scheduler

Due dates come from the maker’s stated interval, with reminders and a record of each check, including who did it and what they found.

Assignment record

Which unit is with which worker or site, and when it changed hands.

Retirement tracking

Retirement dates from the maker’s stated life, and a list of units reaching them.

Compatibility check

Warns when a harness and a lanyard that the maker does not pair are placed on one order.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Sale to register

Units are picked by serial, sold and added to the buyer’s register against their site.

Inspection round

A coordinator or the buyer’s inspector records each check by serial. Units failing a check are marked out of service.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Product records

Maker, model, ratings declared by the maker, and instruction documents.

Unit records

Serial, batch, date of manufacture where known, and first use.

Accessories

Connectors, anchors and rescue items linked to the systems they belong to.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Contract rates

Prices for contract customers and rate lists for dealers.

Service packages

Inspection or recertification offered as a priced service and added to an order.

Approvals

A large order is held until a named approver signs it off.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Serial picking

At picking, a unit’s serial is read and attached to the order.

Units out for inspection

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Invoices on account for contract buyers, and card payment for small ones.

Returns

A returned unit is checked by a competent person. If it is found unfit, it is withdrawn from the register and its serial is closed.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Inspection intervals, record fields and reminder rules follow the maker’s instructions and your practice.

Where the edge is

Inspection is carried out by competent people. The system records their findings and does not replace their judgement.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading existing equipment

Units already sold are entered from your records, and the oldest are verified by a physical check where you choose.

Training

Coordinators and inspectors record checks by serial on live equipment.

Support scope

What support covers.

Cover

Faults and questions are handled on the terms of your agreement.

Beyond cover

New equipment types or a mobile inspection app are quoted as separate work.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is there a package for this today?

No. A serial-wise inspection register is custom software. Contract sales of other PPE could use an existing product.

Does it decide whether a harness is safe?

No. It records inspections done by competent people and flags units due or past the dates the maker states.

Can a customer see its own units?

Yes. A buyer signs in and sees only the register of its own equipment.
