Software Solutions for Fresh Juice and Cold-Pressed Brands

Fresh and cold-pressed juice lasts days, not months, so it is pressed against orders and delivered in slots. Buyers choose programmes of several days, and offices order standing quantities. A seller online needs cut-offs tied to production, date-stamped bottles and a delivery record that shows how each order was kept cold.

At a glance

Press to the order list and deliver within a chilled slot.

A juice order is a promise to press tomorrow morning. The software has to know what was ordered by midnight.

Businesses and operating models

Cold-press juice brands

A brand presses to order, sells single bottles and multi-day programmes and delivers locally in chilled packs.

Juice bars with delivery

A shop sells at the counter and adds an online menu with delivery slots from the same kitchen.

How an order moves

The workflow for juices.

  1. 1

    Cut-off reached

At the cut-off hour, the day’s orders close and become the press list.

  2. 2

    Pressed and labelled

Bottles are pressed, labelled with the date and stored cold until pick-up.

  3. 3

    Packed chilled

Orders are packed with ice or gel in a method you define, and the pack used is recorded.

  4. 4

    Delivered in a slot

Riders deliver inside their windows, and the handover time is logged.

  5. 5

    Programme adjusted

A pause or swap changes the next day’s list before the cut-off.

Where it breaks

The challenges, and what they cost.

Overproduction is thrown away

A juice pressed without orders has a few days to sell. Unsold bottles are lost.

Slots overload the riders

Too many orders arrive for a single window, and bottles sit warm in a bag.

Programmes are adjusted by message

Pauses and swaps are sent by chat, and the kitchen list is changed by hand.

Requirements to assess

What is specific to this trade.

These are requirements we would confirm in discovery. They describe what the solution may need to handle. They are not features that already exist.

  • An order cut-off that feeds the next day’s press list
  • Slot limits by area, with riders’ capacity in mind
  • Programme pauses and swaps that change the list before the cut-off
  • A packing and handover record for each order
Recommended modules

What we would build for juices.

Chosen from the commerce capabilities this business needs, not a list of everything.

Cut-off to press list

Turns closed orders into quantities by recipe.

Slot capacity

Closes windows when they are full.

Programme manager

Handles pauses, swaps and stop dates before the cut-off.

Dispatch record

Logs packing method and handover time.

Users and permissions

Who works in the system, and what each can do.

Kitchen lead

Reads the press list and records what was made.

Rider

Delivers in a slot and records handover.

Programme support

Handles pauses and swaps for subscribers.

Integrations

What it would connect to.

An integration is confirmed only after its API, access and scope are checked. A connection that updates on a schedule is described as scheduled, not real-time.

  • Your own riders’ phones for delivery status
  • Payment through a gateway that supports repeat billing, if you hold one
  • Messages for slot confirmations through a verified business account
Implementation

How the work runs, and what we need from you.

What you provide

  • Your recipes, sizes and prices
  • Press days and the order cut-off you want
  • Delivery areas, slots and rider capacity

Fix the cut-off first

We settle the hour and what it means for pressing, because every slot follows from it.

Run a week alongside the old way

Online orders are pressed beside the usual ones for a week, so the list can be compared.

Deliverables

What you receive.

  • A cut-off and press list setup
  • Slot and capacity rules
  • A programme manager
  • A dispatch and handover record
Measurement

How progress is judged.

Measures are agreed against your own baseline. We do not promise a result in advance.

  • Bottles discarded unsold, against your own record
  • Orders delivered outside their slot
India and international

Selling at home and abroad.

Cold-pressed juice rarely travels far, so most sellers serve one city. Selling elsewhere needs a different product, such as shelf-stable shots, and rules of its own.

The wider requirements for beverages are on the Beverages page.

Suitable software

Fresh Juice E-commerce & Delivery Software

Configured implementation

A commerce platform is selected with you in discovery and set up for chilled goods, with extensions for same-day cut-offs and press dates. The platform sets how far those rules can go, and nothing here is an existing product.

Common questions

Questions about juices e-commerce.

Can we stop orders after a set hour?

Yes. The cut-off is a setting, and the page shows the next slot that can still be booked.

Can customers pause a programme?

Yes, before the cut-off for that day. After it, the juice is already pressed and the pause applies to the next day.

Does the system monitor temperature?

No. It records how an order was packed and handed over. Temperature monitoring would need sensors and is scoped separately.
