Frozen Food E-commerce & Cold Chain Software

This solution records frozen stock by batch and temperature, plans cold-chain dispatch by distance and pack type, and tracks each parcel’s time out of the freezer. It is written for frozen food sellers who ship beyond a short local radius.

Product status

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

No GullySystem product records frozen stock by temperature log, cold-chain dispatch or thaw risk. This is custom software, written to order. Its sensor readings may come from GullySystem’s IoT Monitoring Dashboard where sensors are fitted.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

Frozen goods are valuable only if they stay frozen. The system keeps a record from the freezer to the door, with the time each parcel spends out of cold storage, so a thaw claim can be judged on facts.

It does not certify food safety. Nor does it promise arrival in a frozen state. It records temperatures and times, and applies the dispatch rules you set.

Modules

What is in the system.

Batch and temperature record

Frozen stock by batch, with storage temperatures from loggers or manual checks.

Pack-out records

Time, pack type, coolant and the packer for every parcel.

Dispatch rules

Which pack type and carrier suit each distance and order size.

Delivery radius

The storefront offers frozen items only where the rules say they can arrive in good condition.

Thaw claim flow

A claim captures photographs, the parcel record and the delivery time.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Freezer to parcel

Stock leaves the freezer, is packed with coolant, and the time out is started and recorded.

Route and handover

The parcel goes by chilled vehicle or insulated pack and courier, and handover time is noted.

Claim to credit

A thaw claim is checked against the parcel’s record and credited or refused, with a reason.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Frozen product fields

Storage temperature, thaw rules and shelf life for each product.

Batch and date

Batch, packing date and best-before date on every lot.

Pack types

Insulated box, coolant and weight limits by product group.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Price with cold-chain cost

Cold-chain packing and delivery cost is shown apart from the product price.

Minimum order for frozen

A minimum order value is applied where frozen goods need special packing.

Trade orders

Hotels and shops order by the carton with a delivery in chilled vehicles.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Cold storage

Stock by freezer, with temperature history and alerts.

Pick and pack-out

The pack is built, timed and sealed at the freezer door.

Dispatch control

Parcels leave only within the dispatch window.

Readings may come from the IoT Monitoring Dashboard GullySystem runs, where sensors are fitted and can share data.

Stock and billing

Reads and writes to the shop or warehouse record.

Carriers

Cold-chain carriers, if they expose booking and tracking.

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading stock

Current stock is entered by freezer and batch and compared with the physical count.

Training

Cold-store staff and packers learn the pack-out screen on a live shift.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does this exist today?

No. It would be written from scratch, and no part is available until accepted.

Can it promise goods arrive frozen?

No. It records temperatures and times and applies your dispatch rules. Arrival condition depends on packing and carriers.

Does it include sensors?

No. Sensors and loggers are bought in your name and fitted on site. The system reads them once their output is confirmed.
