Furniture E-commerce & Showroom Management Software

This solution puts a furniture range online from the records the showroom already keeps. Buyers choose size, fabric and finish, check delivery to their address and pay in stages, while the team sees stock, quotes and crews in one place. The storefront is configured per business.

Product status

Existing GullySystem product, with the online storefront configured around it

GullySystem’s Furniture Showroom Management Software already runs the selling side: stock by showroom and godown, quotations, custom orders, advance and balance billing and delivery scheduling. The online storefront is configured around it. The product is not a website, so a seller with no showroom or stock records yet would need more of it built first.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

One record of each piece and each order is shared by the website, the showroom, the workshop and the delivery crew. A custom order placed online then reaches the workshop with the buyer’s choices attached.

The solution covers the storefront, quotations, orders, delivery and fitting plans. It does not design rooms, manufacture furniture or arrange finance for buyers.

Quotation and order desk

Quotes built from the catalogue, then converted to orders with advance and balance.

Delivery and fitting planner

Crews, vehicles, slots and fitting marked on each visit.

Faults and complaints with photographs, assigned to a technician.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Browse to order

A buyer picks a piece, chooses a size and fabric, checks delivery to their address and pays an advance.

Quote to workshop

A showroom salesperson builds a quote, the buyer accepts it online and the order goes to the workshop with the same choices.

Order to handover

The order is packed or built, loaded with photographs, delivered, fitted and signed off.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Dimensions and materials

Width, depth, height, weight and materials are fields, so the buyer sees real sizes.

Option lists per piece, with swatch images, price effect and lead time.

Display and godown stock

Floor pieces are marked apart from new stock, so a buyer sees which is which.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Option pricing

Fabric and finish can add to the price, set per piece.

Quote validity

A quote carries an end date you set, after which it must be refreshed.

Discount limits

Discounts above a staff level wait for approval.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Showroom and godown stock

The site reads the stock the showroom sells from, on a schedule you agree.

Delivery area rules

Postal codes served, access questions and fitting options decide what the buyer is offered.

Loading and unloading photographs

Photographs at both ends, kept on the order for damage claims.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Stage payments

An advance, part payments and the balance on delivery, each recorded against the order.

Cancellations

Rules for cancelling a made-to-order piece, and how its advance is treated, are set by you.

Stock, quotations, orders and delivery planning are read from the existing showroom product.

Payment gateway

Switched on for the advance once your gateway account is live and tested.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Options, lead times, area rules, stage payments and approvals follow how you sell.

Where the edge is

Showroom software handles the selling side. Purchase bills and supplier dues stay with your accountant, as they do today.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing the catalogue over

Items, options and prices come from your present showroom records and are checked with a sample.

Training

Sessions for showroom, dispatch and after-sales staff, using your own pieces.

Support scope

What support covers.

Support terms

The support sheet lists who to call, when they answer and what is fixed without charge.

Beyond support

A new market, a second brand or a redesign gets a separate quotation.

Subcategory coverage

Where each furniture subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

A modular sofa depends on valid module combinations and fabric-specific prices and lead times, which a size-and-finish catalogue cannot express.

  • Bedroom Furniture

    Covered on this page

Bed sizes, storage options and installation are covered by the category option catalogue and delivery planning.

  • Dining Furniture

    Covered on this page

Table and chair sets with extension and glass options are handled by the category option catalogue and set pricing.

  • Office Furniture

    Its own solution page

Project quotations, approvals, purchase orders and multi-site delivery make an office order a different system from a retail basket.

  • Children’s Furniture

    Covered on this page

Age ranges, convertible pieces and gifting dates are handled by the category option catalogue and order dates.

  • Outdoor Furniture

    Covered on this page

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is this the same as the showroom product?

Partly. The showroom product exists and runs the back office. The online storefront and its options are configured around it for each business.

Where is the price list?

There is none. A written proposal states scope and cost, and no trial access or demo is offered.

Can it work with stock held in another system?

If that system can export or share stock, we read what it offers first and report what can be linked.

Does it arrange EMI or finance?

No. It records an amount paid by a finance company. The finance itself is arranged outside the software.
