Wall Art E-commerce & Print-to-Order Software

This solution lets a wall art seller offer one artwork in several sizes, papers and frames, price the combination, send a print job to the printer and pay the artist their share. It is made to order for galleries, print studios and artist-led shops.

Product status

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

No existing GullySystem product and no ordinary storefront setup handles print jobs, frames and artist payouts together, so it is written specifically for the seller. A gallery’s own stock list can still be read.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The system treats an artwork as a source file with licensing terms, and a product as a combination of artwork, size, material and frame. A buyer’s choice then becomes a print job without retyping.

It does not produce prints, judge artwork or clear rights. It records the terms you agree with each artist and applies them.

Modules

What is in the system.

Artwork library

Source files, artist, licence terms and approved sizes held once and reused across products.

Configurator

Lets a buyer pick size, paper or canvas and frame, and shows the price and a preview of the choice.

Print job queue

Turns a paid order into a job with file, size, material and frame, and tracks it to packing.

Edition register

Counts numbered prints against the size of a limited edition.

Artist statements

Works out each artist’s share per sale and returns, for payment by the seller.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Choose to print

A buyer selects an artwork and options, pays and the job reaches the print queue with its file attached.

Limited edition sale

A numbered print is reserved for one buyer and the edition count updates when the order is confirmed.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Artwork and rights

Artist, year, medium, licence terms and the print sizes the artist has approved.

Print options

Paper, canvas, size and finish held as options with a cost each.

Frames and hanging

Frame style, glazing and hanging hardware as separate items that add to the price.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Option price

Price follows the combination chosen, from a table you maintain.

Edition pricing

A limited edition can step up in price as numbers are sold, if you set that rule.

Artist share

The artist’s share is set per artwork and recorded on each order.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Print on demand

Most pieces have no finished stock. The order creates the print job.

Framed shipping

Framed and glazed pieces are packed to a stricter rule than rolled prints.

Edition numbers

A numbered print is tied to one order so it cannot be sold twice.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

The order is held until the gateway confirms payment, and only then is a print job released.

Reprints and returns

A damaged or misprinted piece is reprinted or refunded, and the reason is kept against the job.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Artist statements

Sales, returns and the amount due per artist for a chosen period.

Production

Jobs by stage and by printer, with reprints by cause.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Printer or print partner

The artwork file and a job sheet pass to the printer by export, or by a scoped link after its process is understood.

Payment gateway

Takes the checkout methods your merchant account offers.

Couriers

Rolled and framed parcels are booked with carriers that can take those sizes.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Built for you

Designed with your studio, and hosted in whichever way you prefer.

In stages

The artwork library and configurator come first. The print queue and artist statements follow.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Set by your agreements

Option tables, edition rules and the artist share follow what you have agreed.

Where it stops

Colour matching, printing and framing belong to your printer. The software passes the job on and does not run the machine.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading the library

Files and licence notes come in from folders or sheets and are checked one by one.

Studio training

The team learns the library, the job queue and the statements on live artworks.

Support scope

What support covers.

What is looked after

The configurator, the queue and the statements are maintained under the terms of the agreement.

What is quoted apart

A new print partner or a changed pricing model is treated as fresh work.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Can this be bought as an existing product?

No. It is software written for the purpose, and it is not an existing GullySystem product.

Does it check that an artist owns the rights?

No. Rights are checked by you. The system stores the terms you agree and shows them where they apply.

Can it show a buyer the print on their own wall?

Only if a preview feature is scoped for it. A basic preview of size against furniture can be built, and a camera view would be quoted on top.
