Home Décor E-commerce & Catalogue Management Software

This solution lets a décor seller list pieces with their sizes, finishes and room photographs, take orders, pack breakables to a rule and handle damage claims. It suits brands, showrooms and makers. The store is set up for each seller on whichever platform fits after the first discovery calls.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

The storefront, option rules and order flows sit on a hosted store platform that is picked once your needs are known. The platform itself is left unnamed. A GullySystem furniture showroom product exists and can hold floor stock where the shop also sells furniture.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The aim is one catalogue where size, finish and packed dimensions are fields, so the price, the picking list and the carrier charge all read the same record. Photographs and options then match what is boxed.

It covers the storefront, option rules, order handling, dispatch rules and damage claims. It does not photograph products, design pieces or arrange the courier’s insurance cover.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront and search

Shoppers browse by room, style, size and colour, and see the photograph that matches the option they picked.

Option catalogue

Sizes, frames, finishes and colour names grouped under one design, so a sold-out frame colour leaves the other finishes on sale.

Order management

Orders, part shipments and made-to-measure approvals kept on one order record.

Packing and dispatch rules

Packing method and packed size set per item type, so breakables are boxed to a rule and shipped by the right carrier.

Damage and returns claims

Photographs and a claim reason are taken against the order, and claims are followed to a refund or a carrier recovery.

Seller portal

Where a marketplace is planned, sellers list pieces, see their orders and read their payout statements.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Listing to doorstep

A piece is listed from its record, ordered with a chosen option, picked, packed to its rule and handed to a carrier with its packed weight.

Made-to-measure order

A custom size or finish is captured, confirmed with the buyer and released to production once an advance is paid.

Damage claim

A buyer uploads photographs, the claim is checked against the dispatch record and a refund or replacement follows.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Dimensions and weight

Product size and packed size are separate fields, because shipping is charged on the box rather than the piece.

Finish and colour names

One colour name maps to one swatch image, so the same shade is not described three ways.

Room photographs

Several images per piece, including a room setting and a scale reference.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Option pricing

A size or finish can carry its own price, so a larger rug or a framed print is priced from the option and not from a note.

Marketplace commission

Where several sellers list together, commission rules are held per seller and shown on each order.

Minimums and sets

Pieces sold as a pair or a set can be held to that quantity at the basket.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Stock by option

Each size and finish has its own count, so a sold-out frame colour does not hide the pieces still available.

Scheduled shop link

Where a showroom system is connected, counter sales reach the site on the agreed schedule, and the site holds a piece in reserve between runs.

Packed-size shipping

The carrier rate is requested from the packed size and weight, not the product size.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Checkout takes cards, UPI and transfers on the gateway account you already hold. Part payment on made-to-measure orders is posted to the order.

Returns

Every return carries a reason code. A piece that comes back whole goes onto the shelf again after inspection.

Carrier claims

A damaged parcel keeps its photographs, so a claim can be raised with the carrier on the same record.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Editors, dispatch staff, showroom staff and owners see only the screens their work needs.

Discount approval

A large offer is held until someone with authority signs it off, and the sign-off is saved on the order.

Reports

Orders by option, breakage by item type, returns by reason and sales by channel.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Showroom stock

Reads the shop stock record, such as GullySystem’s Furniture Showroom Management Software, where the shop uses it.

Payment gateway

Linked to your merchant account for the methods it offers, once its documentation and your account terms have been read.

Courier services

Parcel and freight booking with tracking, for carriers whose interfaces turn out to be usable.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Where it runs

Hosted on servers we configure with you, or on a cloud subscription that you hold directly.

Release in stages

A single range opens first. The wider catalogue follows once packing rules have met real parcels.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Set to your business

Option rules, packing rules, order stages and the storefront design.

The limit

What the chosen platform allows decides the limit. A wish beyond it is scoped as an extension or as custom work before anyone promises it.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Moving the catalogue

Products, options and photographs are brought from sheets or the current store, then compared with a sample of real orders.

Training sessions

Editors, the dispatch desk and showroom staff each get a short session built on your own pieces.

Support scope

What support covers.

Covered

Bug fixes, small adjustments and questions from your team, with named contacts and hours written into the agreement.

Not covered

A further sales channel, an extra country or any large change gets a separate quotation.

Subcategory coverage

Where each home décor subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Wall Art

    Its own solution page

The size, material and frame combinations, print jobs and artist payouts need their own configurator and queue.

  • Mirrors

    Covered on this page

Mirrors differ mainly in packed size and freight, which the category catalogue and dispatch rules already handle.

  • Decorative Objects

    Covered on this page

Many small single-unit pieces are served by bulk import, variation notes and packing records already in the category solution.

  • Rugs

    Covered on this page

Size matrices, unique pieces and swatches are handled by the category catalogue and reservation rules.

  • Curtains

    Its own solution page

Window measurements, fabric usage pricing and stitching jobs are a different system from the category catalogue.

  • Clocks

    Covered on this page

Movement details, packing checks and warranty claims fit within the category catalogue and returns flow.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does a ready package sit behind this?

No. The storefront runs on a platform that suits your catalogue and order rules, and that platform is picked once those are known.

What does it cost, and can we try it first?

No price is published, and there is no trial or demo. After discovery you receive a written quotation that lists scope and cost.

Can it photograph or design our pieces?

No. It holds photographs and design details that you provide. Photography and product design remain with your own team or studio.
