Sports Equipment E-commerce Software

A sports goods store or dealer catalogue where the product record speaks the language of each sport: grip sizes, ball sizes, racket weights, shoe widths and age categories. Team orders, seasonal stock and returns for sized gear come with it. Its limits are stated plainly.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

No existing GullySystem product runs an online sports goods store. The storefront, size guidance and team ordering are assembled on a platform that is selected with you in discovery, while dealer ordering can reuse an existing wholesale product.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

Most sports gear is bought on a number: a size, a weight, a flex or an age. The software treats those numbers as real fields so shoppers can filter by them and staff can check them at packing.

It covers the storefront, team orders, stock, returns and dealer ordering. It does not fit a player, certify equipment for competition or settle which standard a league requires.

Modules

What is in the system.

Sport-aware catalogue

Different fields for each sport, so a racket lists its weight and grip while a ball lists its size and surface.

Size and fit guidance

Charts and selectors by sport, with a note when a size runs large or small.

Team and club orders

Quote, approve and fulfil an order for a group, with names, numbers and a size list per player.

Seasonal stock planning

Sales and stock by month, so buying can follow the playing season.

Dealer catalogue

Separate dealer logins with their own rates, carton sizes and minimums.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

From search to basket

A shopper picks a sport, filters by size or level, reads fit guidance and adds the item. Stock for that exact size is checked first.

Team order

A coach sends a size list. The desk prices it and sends a quote. Once the quote is approved, the order becomes a pick list and a set of print files for the supplier.

Dealer reorder

A shop signs in, repeats its last order by carton and sees its own rates.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Sport-specific attributes

Fields change with the sport: weight and balance for racquets, bore size for hoops, age band for youth gear.

Size and handedness

Left and right, junior and senior, and numbered sizes are options of one product, and every option keeps a separate stock count.

Compatibility notes

Replacement strings, grips, shuttles and balls are linked to the gear they suit.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Team pricing

A quantity-based price is set for a group order, and each player’s size is held against the order line.

Dealer rates

A dealer’s rates are shown to that dealer only, with a carton minimum applied before checkout.

Deposits on large orders

A deposit is taken on a team order before print files go to production.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Size-level stock

Stock is counted by size, side and colour. No single number stands for a whole product.

Seasonal buying view

Sales by month beside stock cover, so reorders are placed before the peak.

Long and bulky parcels

Packing rules for bats, sticks and nets, and for goods that need two parcels.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Online payments

Customers pay through the provider’s hosted checkout, with local methods shown where the provider offers them.

Exchanges

A wrong size is exchanged against the original order, and the returned item is checked before it goes back on sale.

Used-gear returns

Items with visible wear are graded and credited according to your rule.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Editors, desk, team account managers, packers and dealers each work in their own screens.

Reports

Sales and stock by sport, return rates by size and team orders by stage.

Approvals

Team discounts and dealer credit are approved by a named person.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Dealer ordering product

Where dealer ordering is in scope, GullySystem’s existing wholesale ordering software can run the dealer side.

Courier services

Bookings for long and bulky parcels, attached after each carrier’s API terms have been read.

Print and kit suppliers

Name and number files sent to the supplier by export, or by connection where the supplier offers one.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosting

Hosting is with us or under your own account, as decided in discovery.

Phased rollout

One sport opens first, then others join as the data is cleaned.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

Adjustable

Attribute sets, size charts, bundle rules and team quote steps are changed to match how you sell.

Outside the software

Whether a bat or helmet is acceptable for a league is decided by the league. The catalogue shows what the maker supplies.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Importing the range

Products, sizes, barcodes and opening stock arrive from spreadsheets or billing exports and are checked against a physical count.

Staff practice

Editors, desk and packers rehearse on a sample range before launch.

Support scope

What support covers.

What is covered

The agreement lists the fixes, minor changes and support hours that are included, with named contacts.

What is extra

New sports, extra channels and large changes are quoted individually.

Subcategory coverage

Where each sports equipment subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Cricket

    Its own solution page

Each bat is a unique item with its own weight and grade, and team kit needs rosters and print files, so the data and flow differ from ordinary stock.

  • Football

    Covered on this page

Surface-based filters, size runs and personalised printing are covered by the category solution’s sport attributes and team ordering.

  • Basketball

    Covered on this page

Basketball differs mainly in heavy-goods delivery, which the category solution handles through its packing and freight rules.

  • Baseball

    Covered on this page

Position, hand and measurement fields are variants and attributes, which the category solution already supports.

  • Badminton

    Covered on this page

Racket attributes, stringing as an order option and shuttle packs are all attributes and options inside the category solution.

  • Tennis

    Covered on this page

Racket variants, restring service and repeat orders are options inside the category solution and need no separate data model.

  • Golf

    Its own solution page

A fitted club needs a specification record, a build queue and component stock, and used clubs need a grading scale, which ordinary sports stock lacks.

  • Swimming

    Covered on this page

Size charts, a return marker and club quotes sit within the category solution’s sizing and team order modules.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Can this be bought as a finished sports store?

No. It is assembled for your range after discovery, on a platform we choose with you.

Is a trial or a price sheet on offer?

No. A written proposal sets out cost and scope. No public price list, trial account or recorded demonstration exists.

Will it tell a customer which size to buy?

Only from the size charts and notes you enter. It does not measure a player or give a fitting recommendation of its own.
