Smart Ring E-commerce & Sizing Management Software

This solution handles the two-step purchase of a smart ring. A sizing kit goes first, and the ring in the confirmed size follows. Deposits, kit returns, size-wise stock, exchanges and build stages are all recorded. It is written for ring brands and can link to shop stock where a shop exists.

Product status

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

No existing GullySystem product runs a sizing-kit journey, so the brand would need custom software. The electronics retail product can still hold serial stock and billing for shop sales.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The sizing kit is its own order type, linked to the ring order that follows, so a confirmed size reaches stock allocation without anyone retyping it from an email or a message.

It does not measure fingers. Nor does it make rings. It records the size chosen, the stock or build behind it and the exchange history.

Modules

What is in the system.

Kit orders

A kit order carries a deposit, a ship date and a return deadline.

Size record

The buyer’s confirmed size, kept on their account.

Size-wise stock

Units by size and finish, with a waitlist for sizes that are out.

Exchange chain

Each exchanged ring is linked to the one before it, so the whole history of serial numbers can be read from the latest ring.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Kit to ring

A kit is ordered and sent back, and the buyer confirms a size. The matching ring is then allocated from stock or queued for build.

Exchange

A ring that does not fit is swapped for another size. Every serial number in the chain is kept.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Sizes and finishes

Each size and finish as a stock option, with the size scale shown.

Kits

Kit contents and deposit held as a product of their own.

Specifications

Sensors, battery and water resistance as comparable fields.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Deposit and credit

A kit deposit set against the ring order when the buyer proceeds.

Made-to-order terms

Advance and expected date recorded on the order, with changes noted.

Approval

Exceptions to exchange limits wait for an approver.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Held by size

A confirmed size is held for the buyer for a stated period.

Waitlist

Buyers waiting on a size are told when it returns to stock.

Kit returns

Returned kits are logged, checked and made ready for the next buyer.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Deposits

A refundable deposit taken through a payment provider that supports holding and returning it, with the kit’s return date recorded beside it.

Returns and exchange

A returned ring is checked against its serial and its charger before any refund is raised or any swap is approved by the support lead.

Phased

Kit orders and size record first, then exchanges and build stages.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Deposit rules, return windows, size scales and order stages follow your policy.

Where the edge is

Finger measurement, manufacturing and the ring’s own app stay with the brand.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing data over

Existing buyers, confirmed sizes and open kit records are imported from your sheet, then sampled against the originals for accuracy before launch.

Training

Sessions for the fulfilment and support teams, covering kits, sizes and exchanges, using sample orders from your own range.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

Fixes and staff help, with hours and named contacts written into the agreement.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does a finished product exist for ring brands?

No. This is custom software written for each brand, not an existing product.

Can it work if we do not use sizing kits?

Yes. The size record and stock by size still apply. The kit order type can simply be switched off.

Can it make the ring’s app membership work?

Not on its own. A plan can be billed if you sell one, but the app, the access it grants and the data it collects all belong to the brand that runs it.
