Frequently asked questions
Does it work out the distance on its own?
No. The claimant enters the kilometres and the module applies your rate. Reading a route off a map is separate software.
Can rates change mid-year?
Yes, from a date you set. Claims already filed keep the rate that applied when the journey happened.
What about fuel bills on a company vehicle?
Those are claimed as diesel against the vehicle and not as mileage. Tagging each expense to the vehicle shows running cost later.
Can we cap monthly travel for one person?
Not as a hard stop. The module shows travel by person and by month, so a sharp rise in one person’s claims is visible. The follow-up is yours.
