Views by Role for Florist Shop Teams
Owners, counter staff, florists and riders each work from the same order list. Each role sees the part of it that it acts on.
One list, four roles
An order passes from the counter to the workroom and then to a rider. Here the arrangement, card message, date and slot sit on one record, and every role reads that record instead of a separate note. What a person sees depends on what that role needs to do. Nothing is copied.
What each role sees
How an order moves between roles
The counter takes the order from a walk-in, a call, the website or a platform. The florist works from the day’s list, using the oldest flowers first. Orders are then assigned to riders by area and urgency, and the rider uploads proof of delivery once the customer has the arrangement. The customer is informed. The owner follows which orders are out.
What the shop decides
Who may see which screen is set by role. Which staff count as counter staff, which riders cover which areas and what the owner reads from each shop are agreed with you during implementation. A single shop with one person at the counter may need only some of these views. Small shops differ.
Frequently asked questions
Can a florist see only the day’s arrangements?
Yes. The florist’s view lists today’s arrangements in delivery order, with the stock that should be used first.
What does a rider see?
Assigned deliveries with the address and slot. The rider updates status and uploads proof of delivery on a phone.
Can the owner follow deliveries from a phone?
Yes. Mobile access shows where each rider is and what has been delivered, alongside orders, stock and billing.
Do counter staff see stock ageing?
That is set by role during implementation. Counter staff take orders and prepare bills, and the stock views are given to the roles that need them.
