Gym Check-In and Attendance Tracking
Every visit is recorded at the door, and the member’s plan is checked at the same moment. The desk then knows who is on the floor and who has stopped coming.
Ways to check in
What happens at the door
At each check-in the system looks at the plan. An active plan passes. An expired or frozen plan shows a message on the desk screen, with the member’s balance and a renew button. The gym decides whether a lapsed member is stopped at the door or allowed in once with a note.
What the visit records feed
What the client decides
- How many days without a visit puts a member on the call list
- Whether an expired plan blocks entry or only warns the desk
- Which door device is used at each branch
- Whether staff check in on the same device
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with the fingerprint reader we already have?
It might. The make and model are checked during scoping, and a link to the device is quoted separately if one is needed.
Can a visit be added by hand if the reader fails?
Yes. The desk can add a visit manually, and the record shows it was entered by a person.
Can a member check in at a different branch?
Yes, where the plan covers it. The member list is shared, so any branch can read the same plan.
Can the door open automatically?
Only if a turnstile or door controller is connected. Whether that is practical is confirmed during scoping.
