Personal Training Sessions for Gym Trainers
A personal training pack is sold once and used session by session. Each booking and each completed session is counted against the trainer and the client, so both can see what is left.
Selling and counting a pack
Missed sessions and expiry
A client may cancel on the morning of a session or not turn up. The gym decides whether that counts as a used session, and the record follows the rule set. A pack that reaches its validity date with sessions unused is flagged before it lapses, so the desk can speak to the client about it.
How it connects
Completed sessions feed the trainer’s commission in the trainer pay module. Pack sales are billed in the fees module, and session counts show on the member’s profile next to the plan. A client who finishes a pack appears on a renewal list for the trainer to follow up.
What the client decides
- The pack sizes, prices and validity the gym sells
- Whether a late cancellation counts as a session used
- Whether a client may switch trainers and how the count is carried
- Whether sessions may be shared between two people
Frequently asked questions
Can a trainer see only their own clients?
Yes. The usual setting shows each trainer the clients assigned to them. The owner sees every trainer’s list.
Can the client see how many sessions are left?
Where a client message or portal is set up, yes. Otherwise the desk reads the count from the record and tells the client.
Can group personal training be counted?
Yes. A small group session is set up as its own pack, with the number of people it covers and the count taken per attendee.
What happens if a trainer leaves?
Their clients are reassigned in one step, and the sessions left on each pack carry over to the new trainer.
