Stopped reporting
A device that has missed its expected readings raises an alert of its own, routed like any other. Silence gets a name against it.
Battery and power
Low battery on a wireless sensor, and a gateway that has lost its supply. Both are things you would rather know on Friday than on Monday.
A value that cannot be true
A cold room at sixty degrees or a flow reading of zero on a running pump usually means the sensor, not the machine. It is flagged as suspect rather than charted as fact.
Calibration due
A scheduled comparison against a reference instrument, with a reminder when a sensor is due for verification or replacement. Drift is caught by the calendar.

Who replaces a dead sensor?
Your electrician or the vendor the device was bought from, because the hardware is yours and was chosen with you. Support from our side covers device health, renewals, calibration reminders and adding new measurement points.
Can it tell a dead sensor from a stopped machine?
Often, by looking at what else on the line is still reporting. Not always. A suspect reading is marked as suspect and a person checks it, which is more honest than guessing on your behalf.
What about the SIM and the cloud account?
Both stay in your name. Renewal dates are watched so a SIM does not lapse quietly, and the device inventory, wiring drawings and configuration documents are handed over to you.
