Frequently asked questions
Will this reduce our electricity bill?
Not by itself. It reads meters, and a reading has never saved a rupee on its own. What it does is tell you which machine and which shift the money goes to, so somebody can go and do something about it.
Do we need new meters?
Sometimes. Many plants already have meters with a Modbus or pulse output that nobody has ever read. Where a new meter is needed, it is chosen with you or your vendor and bought in your name, like every other device.
Can these figures go into our ERP?
Yes. Consumption and run hours can be pushed into your ERP or maintenance software. Your accountant usually wants one consumption figure rather than the readings behind it, and that is agreed during set-up.
