Integrations for Plant Monitoring Systems

The dashboard reads from PLCs, drives, chillers and meters, and sends alerts by WhatsApp, SMS, email and panel hooter. It can also pass figures into ERP and maintenance software.

Machines and meters it reads

Modbus and OPC UA devices

Read from the devices you already own. Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet, RS-485, 4-20 mA, pulse and dry-contact inputs are covered, without disturbing the control system.

PLCs, drives and chiller controllers

Read alongside the control system and not into it, so the control logic is left as it is.

Energy and water meters

Consumption is read per machine, line or block.

Where alerts and outputs go

WhatsApp, SMS and email

Alerts reach the named person on shift on the channel that person reads, and they carry their original times if the link was down. These channels need a network connection.

Panel hooters and indication lamps

These work at the panel without a network, because the rules run on the gateway.

ERP and maintenance software

Run hours, downtime and consumption figures can be pushed into your ERP or maintenance software. Tally keeps books and not machine logs, so a link there is a consumption or production figure agreed with your accountant. Fields are agreed in scoping.

What is confirmed during scoping

  • The protocol and address map of each machine and meter
  • Supplier permission where a machine is under warranty or AMC
  • The messaging accounts used for WhatsApp and SMS
  • The ERP or maintenance system, and the fields to pass
  • Connectivity per site: Wi-Fi, wired, 4G SIM or LoRaWAN
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can it read our existing PLCs, drives and energy meters?

Usually yes. Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet, RS-485, 4-20 mA and pulse inputs cover most of what sits in a plant room. The exact devices are confirmed during the site visit.

Does the dashboard depend on the cloud for alerts?

Partly. The hooter and lamp at the panel work on the gateway without a network. WhatsApp, SMS and email need a connection and arrive after the link returns.

Does it connect to our ERP?

Yes, in the form of run hours, downtime and consumption figures pushed into the ERP or maintenance software. Which system and which fields are agreed during scoping.

Do you supply the sensors and gateways?

No. They are selected with you or your vendor, bought in your name and fitted on site by an electrician. Cloud accounts and SIMs also stay in your name.

What happens after you share your requirements

  1. A senior engineer reads your answers. Nobody phones first.
  2. Within one business day you get a written note: what we understood, what we would start with, and the questions we still have.
  3. If it fits, a proposal follows with the order of work, what we need from you and what you receive at each step.
  4. No call is booked and nothing is paid until you have read the note. Your details stay with us.
