Raw Reading Export and API for Analysis

Raw time-series readings for any period you name are available as a file or over an API. Retention is agreed before the first device is fitted.

Readings that are not locked to the charts

Quality heads, consultants and engineers often prefer their own tools. The export gives them the readings as they were recorded, with timestamps. Nothing is summarised on the way out. The charts on the screen are one way to read the history. Export is another, and it does not depend on them.

Ways to take the data out

A file for any period

Name a start and an end, pick the machines or points, and download the readings. It opens in a spreadsheet.

An API into your own tools

The same readings are served over an API for software you already run. Access is agreed with your IT contact during scoping.

Condition against a batch or date

The history for a batch, a consignment or a date can be taken out for a customer or an assessor who asks to see the condition record.

Figures for ERP or maintenance software

Run hours, downtime and consumption can be pushed into those systems. The fields are agreed with the people who own them.

Retention and what is kept

Retention is agreed before the first device is fitted. The points that decide it are how often each point is read and how long readings stay at full detail. Older data may be held as hourly or daily summaries. Only what has been kept can be exported.

What the export does not do

  • It does not analyse the readings. That stays with your own team or consultant
  • It does not reach back before the first device was fitted
  • Older logger or spreadsheet files can be loaded as history, by agreement
  • Which fields and file layout you need is agreed during scoping
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can we export the data for our own analysis?

Yes. Raw readings for any period download as a file, and an API serves them into your own tools.

Does the export include readings buffered during an outage?

Yes. Buffered readings are written into the history with the times they were taken, so an export for that period has no break.

Who decides how long readings are kept?

You do, with us, before the first device is fitted. The decision depends on how often points are read and what your quality or audit needs ask for.

Can data from an older logger be added to the history?

Yes, for exports from an older logger or a spreadsheet, which load with their timestamps. Handwritten registers are judged case by case.

Talk to us

Tell us what you need.

Share your requirements and one of our engineers will come back to you within one business day.

What happens after you share your requirements

  1. A senior engineer reads your answers. Nobody phones first.
  2. Within one business day you get a written note: what we understood, what we would start with, and the questions we still have.
  3. If it fits, a proposal follows with the order of work, what we need from you and what you receive at each step.
  4. No call is booked and nothing is paid until you have read the note. Your details stay with us.

Start with your requirements
