Eleven Months Paid, or Ten

She says eleven. The passbook says ten, her daughter is standing beside her, and the wedding is in May. Whatever the truth is, the way you find it out in front of them matters as much as the answer.

A passbook, a register and two memories

The member has a book with rubber stamps in it, and you have a register in the back office. One month, somebody took a payment and forgot to write it in one of the two. Nobody knows which, and there is no third place to check.

What the scheme book holds

Members and their plans

Who joined, on what date, for how many months and for how much. Found by phone number when she walks in.

Every instalment, with a receipt

Cash, UPI or card, entered against the month it pays. The receipt she gets is raised from the same entry.

Months she missed

A gap shows as a gap. It can be seen before maturity rather than argued about on the day.

What maturity gives her

Held in weight or in value, whichever your scheme promises, and shown with the instalments behind it.

Advances against an order

Money paid towards a specific piece sits with that order, kept apart from scheme instalments.

What stays with you

The terms of the scheme, what you promise a member and whatever the law asks of that promise remain your business and your auditor’s. The software keeps the record straight. It does not design the scheme or vouch for it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a member pay two months together?

Yes. The receipt is applied across the months it covers, and her record shows both as paid. A member who clears arrears stops showing as behind that evening.

Can she see her own balance?

There is no member login in this product. Your counter can show her the record on screen or hand her a printed statement, which is what most showrooms prefer anyway.

Does it handle more than one scheme?

Yes. A shop often runs a plain eleven-month plan and something else beside it. Each scheme has its own terms, and a member sits in the one she joined.
