Attendance and Check-in for Pilates Classes
Attendance is marked for each class at the studio door or by the instructor. A session is taken off the client’s pack, and the class counts toward the instructor’s month.
Marking a class
The class list shows everyone booked, in the order they will be on the machines. Marking takes a tap per name.
Who marks it
Some studios let the desk check clients in as they arrive. Others let the instructor mark the list from a phone at the end of class. Both work. The first approach gives an early view of who has not come, and the second suits a studio without a full-time front desk.
What attendance feeds
Pack balances, instructor counts and the fill report all read from attendance. A client who has missed several weeks appears on the lapsed list. A correction made on the class list flows to each of these.
What the studio decides
The system does not decide what counts as a no-show or how many a client may have. The owner sets those rules. Biometric or card check-in is possible, but it is confirmed and quoted separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can attendance be corrected after class?
Yes. The desk or the owner can change a mark, and the pack balance and instructor count move with it. The change is logged.
Does a client check herself in?
Only if the studio chooses. A phone check-in or a QR scan at the door can be set up, and what it needs is confirmed during scoping.
Can parents’ children be marked in a teen class?
Yes, where the studio runs one. The child is a client with her own profile and a contact for the parent.
Is attendance kept for past months?
Yes. History stays on the client’s profile, and reports can be run for any month that has records.
