Session Packs and Memberships for Pilates Studios
Packs, monthly plans and drop-ins are sold from one screen. Each attended class takes a session off the balance, so the desk and the client both see how many are left and when the pack expires.
What can be sold
A studio defines its own products. Each one has a price, a number of sessions or a period, and a validity date.
Freezes and extensions
A client who travels or recovers from an injury may ask to pause her pack. The desk records the freeze with its dates, and the expiry moves by the days frozen. Whether a freeze is allowed, and how often, is the studio’s policy.
How a balance is counted
A booking holds a session. Attendance confirms it. A late cancellation inside the studio’s window can also use it. Each of these events is stamped, so a disputed balance can be traced back to the class and the date.
What the studio decides
Pack sizes, validity, transfer between clients and refunds are decisions for the owner. How pack money is shown in the books is a matter for the studio’s accountant, since sessions sold are not yet taught.
Frequently asked questions
Can a pack be shared by two family members?
Yes, if the studio allows it. A pack can be linked to more than one client, and each attended class is counted against the shared balance.
What happens when a pack expires with sessions unused?
The sessions lapse on the validity date unless the studio extends them. The desk can see expiring packs ahead of time and decide.
Can a client see her own balance?
Yes. Sessions left and the expiry date show on her phone login, so she does not need to ask the desk.
Are refunds handled in the system?
A refund is recorded as an entry against the pack. The payment itself is made outside, by cash, UPI or a bank transfer.
