Integrations for SHG Management Software
The system connects to SMS, email, Google Calendar and PDF and Excel reports. What depends on a member’s phone or an outside system is confirmed during scoping with the group.
What it connects to
Reminders on the right channel
SMS goes to members without smartphones, while email or in-app notices go to those who have them. The group chooses the channel for each person and how many days ahead each reminder is sent. A reminder reaches only those whose number or email is on the member record, so a member with no phone still has to be told another way.
Accounts outside the system
Accounts are produced inside the product. It gives the group’s cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheet on its own. If an NGO’s accountant works in Tally, the figures can be exported for it. A bank loan taken by the group can be recorded with its repayment schedule, though the bank’s own statement remains the record the bank goes by.
What the group decides
The group decides which channels it needs. A group may use only SMS, or only email. Whether a calendar is useful is settled during scoping, and nothing is connected to a government portal. The product keeps the group’s own books, which you print or export when asked.
Frequently asked questions
Is it connected to NRLM portals?
No. It is not a government system and does not report into NRLM portals. It keeps the group’s own books.
Can reminders go out on WhatsApp?
Reminders go by SMS, email and in-app notice. Adding another channel is separate work, and its scope is explained before you agree to it.
Do the figures go into Tally?
They can be exported for an NGO’s accountant who works in Tally. The system itself produces the group’s statements without it.
What does Google Calendar do here?
It is listed as a connection for meeting dates. How a group uses it is confirmed during scoping.
