Next to the announcements
Announcements sit alongside the calendar: a timing change, a special pooja, a donation appeal, or an emergency notice when the temple must close. Each has a publish date and an expiry date, so last month’s notice takes itself down. Photographs from each utsava go into albums in the gallery, where the families who attended can find themselves.
Who looks after it

- Albums are uploaded after the utsava, usually by whoever took the photographs
- An expired announcement stops showing without anybody deleting it
Registrations are not on screen yet
Taking names and payments for an event, the way you might for a homa with limited places, is not built today. You can list the event and put a contact on it. If the trust needs registrations, that is built at set-up and written into the proposal first, not promised on a page.

Does the event appear on our website by itself?
Yes. Festivals and events have their own page on the temple site, with the dates and the banner you uploaded.
Can we take bookings for a homa during the festival?
As a seva, yes, if it is set up as one with its own slots. As an event with a registration list, no. That distinction is worth settling before the season starts.
How do timing changes reach devotees?
Through an announcement with a publish and expiry date, which shows on the website. There is nothing automatic going out to phones.
