Customer Messages and Reminders for Auto Parts Shops
Messages go out from the records already in the system. A customer hears when a part has arrived, a garage hears when a payment is due, and regular buyers hear about an offer.
Messages that follow the records
Choosing who receives what
Customers are grouped by type, such as garage, fleet owner or walk-in. A reminder is meant for an account with an open balance. An offer is meant for those who buy that brand. Each message is sent to the group it was built for.
Templates
Message text is set up once and reused. Your team can edit the wording. WhatsApp business templates are submitted for approval by Meta, so a new template takes time that the shop does not control.
What it does not do
The module does not hold a conversation. Replies come to the shop’s own number and are handled by staff. Whether a customer has agreed to receive promotional messages is for the shop to confirm.
Frequently asked questions
Which channels are supported?
WhatsApp, SMS and email. Which of them are switched on depends on the accounts your shop has and what is confirmed during scoping.
Can a reminder go to the garage owner and not the mechanic?
Yes. Each account has a contact for payments and a contact for parts, and reminders go to the one you choose.
Are messages sent automatically?
Part-arrived and payment-due messages can be switched to automatic. Offers are sent when a person chooses the group and presses send.
Can we stop messages to one customer?
Yes. A customer can be marked do-not-message, and the system leaves that account out of every group.
