Auto Parts Shop Connections to WhatsApp, Tally and UPI

A counter already relies on messaging, payment, accounting and printing tools, and the parts shop system links to each of them. Each link depends on an account or a device the shop already owns, and every one is confirmed during scoping.

Messages to customers and garages

WhatsApp

Part-arrived notices, payment reminders and bill copies go over WhatsApp. This needs a business account and approved templates.

SMS

Short alerts go by SMS, through a provider the shop chooses and pays directly. Sender name and template registration follow that provider’s process.

Email

Invoices, garage statements and supplier orders can be mailed straight from the system, using the shop’s own address or a separate sending address set up for it at the start.

Payments

UPI and card payments at the counter are recorded on the bill. That part needs no gateway. A payment gateway can add a link for a garage to pay a balance online. The shop’s own bank account and merchant agreement sit behind it. Which gateway is used is decided with the client.

Accounts and Tally

Sales, purchase and credit entries can be exported for Tally. The shop’s ledger names, voucher types and GST set-up differ from one accountant to the next. So the export is scoped against how your books are kept. Nothing is preset.

Barcode and label printers

Parts can carry a printed label with a barcode, and a scanner speeds up the counter and the rack count. The printer model, label size and what is printed on the label are confirmed during scoping. Nothing is assumed.

What these links do not do

A link works only when the other system is in place. It must also be reachable from the shop’s network or from our hosting. The system does not open a bank account, a WhatsApp account or a Tally licence for the shop. Their charges are separate.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a WhatsApp account needed?

Yes, for WhatsApp messages. The shop needs a business account, and templates for each type of message are approved before use.

Does it post entries straight into Tally?

It exports them. A direct link depends on your Tally set-up and is quoted separately after scoping.

Can it read a barcode from a manufacturer’s box?

Yes, if that barcode is stored against the part. Otherwise the shop prints its own label for the part.

Which payment gateway is used?

That is chosen with the client during scoping, based on the bank and the gateway the shop already deals with.
