CCTV AMC Contracts and Visit Schedules
An AMC is a promise of visits, and a visit nobody schedules becomes a renewal lost. This module holds each contract and the visits it owes the customer.
What a contract holds
The visit checklist
- Lens cleaning and dome covers wiped at every camera
- Angle and focus checked against the position label
- Recording days and disk health read on the recorder
- Power supply, connectors and cable joints inspected
- Phone app view tested with the customer present
Due visits and renewals
Visits fall due from the contract, not from a reminder in somebody’s head. A due list shows which sites are owed a visit this month, and a technician is assigned from that list. Each completed visit records the devices checked, the faults found and anything billed. A site left unvisited since the contract began is the one most likely to argue at renewal, and the due list shows it plainly. Contracts nearing their end appear on a renewal list, with the visits actually done sitting beside each one.
What the client decides
- How many visits a contract carries and in which months
- What falls outside cover and is billed separately
- Whether a customer signs the visit sheet on a phone
- How long before expiry a renewal notice goes out
Frequently asked questions
Can a contract cover only some cameras?
Yes. Devices under cover are picked from the site register, and anything left out shows on the contract.
How are overdue visits spotted?
The due list carries them forward and marks them late. Sites running behind are then plain to the coordinator.
Does it send renewal reminders?
It can, over WhatsApp, text or email. What the notice says and when it goes out are set with you.
Can a visit be billed?
Yes, when the work falls outside cover. The visit record shows what was chargeable and the invoice follows it.
