CCTV Installer Software Views for Owners and Technicians

A CCTV firm has an office, a van and a service desk touching the same site record. Each of them sees the part their own work needs.

The owner

Work in hand

Installations by stage, quotations waiting for approval, and the sites where a job card has stood open too long.

Service load

AMC visits due and overdue, complaint calls open, and which sites keep returning with the same fault.

Money

Advances taken, balances by site, renewals due and what the distributors are owed. One screen carries all four.

Material

Material issued against each job beside what was quoted, and the spares still sitting in the vans.

Office and coordinators

The office builds quotations from surveys, books complaint calls and plans which team goes where. It raises invoices, records receipts and sends renewal notices. Rate lists and margins are readable only where the owner allows it, and a past invoice cannot be edited from here without permission. Nothing is hidden from the owner.

Installation technicians

A technician opens the day’s sites on a phone and reads the camera positions marked at survey. He enters serials against channels, ticks the commissioning steps and notes what material the job consumed. Customer balances and purchase rates stay out of that view. Only his own sites are listed.

Service and AMC technicians

Service staff see the visits due and the calls booked for them, with the site contact to ring before arriving. The device register of the site is readable, so the right spare leaves the office with the technician rather than after a second trip. The visit checklist is ticked on the phone. What is chargeable is marked by the office.

What the client decides

Who sees what is configured when the system goes in, and our staff change it as your teams change. The owner decides whether a branch or franchise manager reads one city or all of them. Store and purchase access is usually kept apart from field access. That split is yours to set.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a technician see what a camera cost?

Only where the owner switches it on. A field view shows positions, serials and the work, not rates.

Is there a view for an apartment association?

A read-only view of visits done and calls closed can be given. Whether to offer it is decided with you.

Do owners get a view on the phone?

Yes. Work in hand, visits due and site balances are all readable from a phone.

Who can change a closed invoice?

Only the staff the owner permits. The version before the change stays on record with the invoice.
