Creative Approvals and Revisions for Marketing Agencies

A draft goes to the client, comes back with changes and goes again. Each version, each piece of feedback and each round used is held on the task.

One approval trail

Versions kept

Version one, two and three of a reel or a carousel sit in order, so the team can see what the client actually approved.

Feedback recorded

Change the headline, use the other product shot, shorten the caption. Comments are typed in or pasted from the client’s mail or message.

Rounds counted

The round number rises with each resend. Two of the three rounds allowed on this retainer shows plainly on the task.

Who approved

The client contact who said yes and the date they said it, held against the version that went live.

Waiting on the client

A draft sent and not yet answered shows as waiting, with the number of days it has sat there. That list is what an account manager works from on a Monday morning, because a publish date cannot hold while a reel waits unapproved for a week. Founders see the same list for every brand.

When rounds run out

Changes asked for after the allowance is used are marked as extra. The account manager can absorb them or log them for billing, and the choice is recorded against the task. Nothing is charged by the software itself.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can approval be taken over WhatsApp instead?

Yes. The account manager records the approval and the date on the task, so the trail holds even when the conversation happened on a phone.

Are old versions thrown away?

No. Every version stays, which settles any later argument about what the client saw and what the client cleared.

Does the client get a login to approve?

A limited client view can be set up for approvals. Whether your clients are given one is decided during scoping.

Can internal review happen before the client sees it?

Yes. An internal stage sits ahead of the client stage, so a senior reviews work before it leaves the agency.
