Beauty & Makeup E-commerce Platform and Stock Software

This is a configured storefront for makeup brands, retailers and distributors. It rests on shade variants, batch and expiry stock, sample and gift rules, launches and returns grading, and discovery selects the platform. It does not review claims, source stock or replace a shop’s own counter system.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

Discovery selects the commerce platform on which the storefront and dealer catalogue are configured, and shade-level and batch-level stock rules are added around it. No existing GullySystem product runs a makeup storefront.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The store reads the same shade-level stock the warehouse counts. When a batch is received, picked or held back, the listing reflects it.

It covers the storefront, stock, order flow and returns. It does not manufacture, test or approve products, and it does not decide label wording.

Platform chosen after review

We recommend a platform after seeing your range, volumes and channels.

One collection at a time

A first range goes live to prove stock and returns rules, and the rest follows.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Shade fields, expiry thresholds, promotion rules and the storefront’s look follow your brand.

Where the edge is

Formulation, testing, claims and label wording stay with your team and advisers.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Moving the catalogue

Products, shades and opening stock by batch come in from your sheets, then a physical count verifies the totals.

Training

Merchandisers and warehouse staff rehearse a delivery, a launch and a return.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

Cover, contacts and hours are all defined in the contract.

Outside scope

More brands, more channels or a different platform are treated as a new project.

Subcategory coverage

Where each beauty & makeup subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Face Makeup

    Its own solution page

Structured shade data, a matching finder and sample-to-purchase tracking are a different system from ordinary variant listing.

  • Eye Makeup

    Covered on this page

Pan-level contents and shelf-life limits are variant and batch settings that the category solution already provides.

  • Lip Makeup

    Covered on this page

Shade variants, basket-level checks and returns grading are category-level settings; the weather rule is a dispatch configuration.

  • Nail Products

    Covered on this page

Shipping classes, compatibility fields and dealer ordering are all configurations within the category solution.

  • Makeup Brushes & Tools

    Covered on this page

These durable goods need set-and-component stock and trade pricing, which the category solution already covers without shade or batch data.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is this an existing GullySystem product?

No. The work is a configured implementation: discovery picks the platform, then the stock rules are set around your range.

Can it review whether our claims are allowed?

No. It shows the wording you provide. Whether a claim is permitted in a given market is a question for your own adviser.

Can it work beside our shop counter system?

Yes, provided that system can share stock through an export or an interface. We study what it exposes before agreeing the link.
