Cleaning Chemicals E-commerce & Compliance Records Software

This solution is an online store for sellers of liquid cleaning products. It stores safety sheets and use notes with each item, checks baskets against carrier limits, tracks batches and shelf life, and runs refill cycles. Each seller gets its own set-up, which sits beside the category store.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

No GullySystem product handles liquid-chemical shipping rules or safety-sheet records. Discovery picks a commerce platform, and those records are added to it as product data.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The store treats a liquid product as more than a price and a photograph. It keeps the maker’s use notes and safety sheet with the product and checks every basket against the carrier’s stated limits.

It does not classify chemicals, decide what may be shipped or write labels. It stores the facts you supply. Nothing more.

Modules

What is in the system.

Product records

Type, dilution notes, suitable surfaces and the safety sheet for each product.

Carrier limits

Limits on liquid quantity and weight per carrier, applied to each basket.

Batches

Batch numbers, dates and issue order for items with a shelf life.

Refills

Refill cycles with reminders, skips and a change-of-pack option.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Basket to carrier choice

A basket is checked against each carrier’s limits, and only workable carriers are offered. If none can take it, the buyer is told why before paying, and the order is split or declined.

Refill dispatch

A reminder goes out, the buyer confirms or skips, and the pack is picked and sent.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Use and dilution

The maker’s notes on use and dilution are shown on the product page, in the maker’s words, with the date the note was last checked against the label.

Safety sheets

One sheet per product. A new version replaces the old when the maker updates it.

Pack hierarchy

Bottle, case and drum are linked under one product.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Pack pricing

Price by pack, with unit price shown per litre.

Trade rates

Institutional accounts see agreed rates and can download sheets. Each download is logged against the account, so you know which customer holds which version of a sheet.

Refill pricing

A refill pack carries its own price, separate from a full bottle.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Batch issue

Older batches go out first. Each order records the batch it received, so a later withdrawal can be traced to the buyers affected.

Packing note

Liquids print an upright-pack line on the pick list. The packer reads it.

Carrier handover

The consignment note carries the details the carrier asks for.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Leak claims

A claim records the batch and photographs and is settled as a replacement or a credit.

Recalls

If a maker withdraws a batch, the orders that received it can be listed from the batch record.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Catalogue, warehouse and trade staff see their own work.

Reports

Claims by batch, refills active and lapsed, and orders held for a carrier limit.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Carrier tables

Limits and rates for the carriers you hold contracts with, as each carrier states them.

Category store

Shares products, prices and customers with the category solution.

Payment provider

Connected to the provider you choose, once its terms are read.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Configured

Built on whatever platform comes out of discovery. Safety sheets, carrier limits and batch fields are added to it as product data, field by field, and tested with a sample range before launch.

Phased

Carrier checks and safety sheets first, then refills.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Record fields, carrier rules and refill options are shaped to your range.

Where the edge is

Hazard classification and label wording remain with you and your adviser.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading records

Products, sheets and batches are loaded and compared with your files.

Training

Working sessions for catalogue and warehouse staff.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

The support agreement lists the defects covered and who answers.

Outside scope

New carriers and markets are quoted separately.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does the store decide whether a chemical may be shipped?

No. It checks baskets against limits you enter. The carrier decides, and so does your own adviser.

Is it a packaged solution?

No. Each seller receives a store shaped around its own range.

Can it list the orders that received a withdrawn batch?

Yes, from the batch recorded on each order. Contacting those buyers remains a manual step.
