Industrial Machinery E-commerce & Configuration Software

This solution lets a machinery supplier configure a machine from its options and produce a quotation. Advance and stage payments are taken, the order is tracked through the maker and installation, and an installed-base record supports spares and service. No existing product handles configurable machines, so the code is written fresh for the supplier.

Custom software solution, built to your requirements

Nothing in GullySystem’s range configures, quotes and tracks industrial machines, so the code is written fresh for the supplier. The trade-ordering software can still carry spares and consumables sold to the same customers.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

A machine is sold as a model with options, a lead time and a set of conditions. The system keeps the configuration agreed with the buyer, so that what is built, shipped and commissioned matches the quote.

It does not engineer the machine or approve its fitness for a job. It stores the configuration, the documents and the sign-offs, and links spares to the unit that was sold.

Modules

What is in the system.

Model and option configurator

Base models, options and incompatibilities, so a quote cannot include a combination that does not exist.

Quotation and terms

Price, delivery time, payment stages and validity assembled and versioned.

Order tracker

Stages from order to maker, dispatch, installation and acceptance.

Installed-base record

Serial, configuration, location and warranty for every machine sold.

Spares by machine

Parts lists per model, so a customer reorders from the list of its own machine.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Enquiry to configuration

A buyer states the job. The engineer selects a model, picks options and the configuration is checked against known rules.

Order to acceptance

Each stage, from advance payment through maker dispatch to acceptance, is recorded on the order, and the buyer can follow it.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Models and options

Each model has options, dependencies and exclusions as data.

Technical documents

Datasheets, drawings and manuals attached to model and unit.

Parts lists

Each spare is attached to the models it belongs to.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Quote versions

Each revision is stored, and the accepted one drives the order.

Stage payments

Advance, dispatch and acceptance payments follow the agreed terms.

Approval

Discounts beyond a limit wait for a named approver.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Maker lead times

The order records the maker’s confirmed delivery estimate and any changes.

Installation scheduling

Dates are set once the site’s readiness is confirmed in writing.

Acceptance

Sign-off by the buyer’s engineer is stored with the unit.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Stage invoicing

Invoices follow the payment stages, via bank transfer or gateway.

Claims

Damage or non-conformity is logged against the unit with photographs and handled under the terms agreed.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Pipeline

Open quotations by value and age.

Order status

Orders by stage, with delays marked and explained.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Trade-ordering software

Carries spares and consumables to the same customers, linked to the installed-base record.

Maker systems

Order data may be exchanged with a maker where its system allows. Otherwise it is shared by file.

Accounting

Invoices reach your books through an import file.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Our servers or yours

Hosting is decided after design, either with us or in your own cloud tenancy.

Stages

Quotation and configuration first, tracking and installed base second.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Models, options, rules and payment stages follow your own range.

Where the edge is

Engineering design, safety acceptance and standards remain with your technical staff and the buyer’s. The system records the outcomes.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading the range

Models, options and dependency rules are entered with your engineers and tested on past quotes.

Training

Sales engineers configure a recent sale. Project teams track a live order.

Support scope

What support covers.

Cover

Faults and questions are answered on the terms your agreement sets out.

Beyond cover

Adding a new product family or a maker interface is separate work.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Does this exist as a package today?

No. Machine configuration and tracking is custom software. Only spares and consumables could use an existing product.

Does it check engineering validity?

It checks the option rules you define. Whether a machine suits a job remains for your engineers.

Can buyers see the status of their order?

Yes. They see the stage, the dates and the documents you choose to share.
