Water Purification E-commerce Software

This solution lets a water treatment seller list purifiers, filters, cartridges and dispensers, book fitting and service visits, and remind customers when each stage is due. Nothing is pre-built: the storefront and the service flows are configured for each business.

Product status

Configured implementation on a commerce platform chosen in discovery

A packaged commerce platform, selected jointly during discovery, carries the storefront. The retail product GullySystem already runs for appliance dealers can hold serial stock and warranty for units, while the water-specific flows are configured around both.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The goal is one record of what each customer has installed. The page then knows which cartridge to offer, the technician knows which spares to carry, and the desk knows which contract is due.

It covers the storefront, fitting and service visits, cartridge reminders and rental records. It does not test water, rate performance or certify a product.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront

Retail pages, a trade catalogue or both, with water-source and fit questions on each listing.

Installed-unit record

What each customer has, when it was fitted and when each stage is next due.

Fitment catalogue

Models linked to their stages and cartridges, so the right part is offered.

Visit scheduling

Fitting, service and cleaning visits by area, closed on a phone.

Rental and contracts

Monthly plans, deposits and annual service contracts with renewal lists.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

Unit sale to service

A buyer answers source questions, orders a unit, is fitted and is then reminded of each stage’s due date.

Cartridge reorder

A reminder opens a prefilled basket for the stage that is due, or a service visit is booked instead.

Rental fleet

A dispenser or purifier is placed, billed monthly and cleaned on a recurring visit until collected.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Treatment type and capacity

Technology, storage, mounting, power need and flow rate are fields.

Fit and compatibility

Pipe sizes, threads and the models a part fits are held as data.

Stage lists

Each unit’s stages are listed, with the interval the maker states for each.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Unit, extras and plans

Unit price, plumbing extras and service plans are shown as separate lines.

Trade and institutional rates

Plumbers, dealers and institutions get their own rate cards and settle on account.

Rental terms

Monthly rates, deposits and plan lengths are priced in the plan.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

Stock

Units, housings and cartridges are held by serial or part number, read by the store on an agreed timetable.

Spares for technicians

Parts are issued to a technician and charged to the visit where they are used.

Dispatch

Light cartridges go by regular parcel. Heavy plants go with their own delivery and fitting.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Online payments, advances and EMI cases are logged with the order.

Returns

Unopened units and sealed cartridges can be returned. Fitted units are a service matter.

Refunds

A refund follows the original payment once the return has been inspected.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Editors, desk staff, fitters and coordinators are limited to the screens their jobs call for.

Approvals

Discounts, rental terms and institutional quotations wait for an approver.

Reports

Services due, contracts expiring, cartridges sold by model and rental units by site.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Appliance retail product

Serial stock, billing and warranty for units can sit in the retail product GullySystem already runs.

Reminders

WhatsApp or email, from accounts you have verified.

Payments and carriers

Connected after the access each provider offers has been confirmed.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Platform choice

Catalogue size, fit data and rental needs decide which platform suits, and that comparison is part of discovery.

Phased

One range and one area go first, so visits and stock can be compared with demand.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Fit fields, interval rules, plans and the storefront’s appearance can be set to your business.

Where the edge is

Platform limits decide how far fitment and rental logic can go. Anything beyond them is scoped as extra work or custom software.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Loading records

Installed units, customers, parts and contract dates come from your present books, then are reconciled.

Training

Editors, the desk and fitters are trained on their own part of the system.

Support scope

What support covers.

Included

Corrections and small adjustments, plus answers to staff queries, are set out in a service agreement.

Not included

Fitment engines, a new country or large new features are quoted separately.

Subcategory coverage

Where each water purification subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Water Purifiers

    Its own solution page

Installation, source advice and service contracts need their own flows, built around an existing appliance product.

  • Water Filters

    Covered on this page

Filters need fit data and an optional plumber visit, both already part of the category flows. They do not need separate installed-unit tracking.

  • Replacement Cartridges

    Its own solution page

Fitment data, stage-wise sets and installed-base reminders are a different system from a plain catalogue, and need their own data model and flows.

  • Water Dispensers

    Covered on this page

Dispensers share the category’s buy, install and service flows. Rental billing and the fleet record are modules of the category solution.

Common questions

Questions about this solution.

Is the whole thing a finished product?

Not as a whole. Retail stock and warranty exist. The store and the service flows are fresh configuration.

Which platform will it use?

That is decided in discovery. No platform is chosen in advance.

Does it cover water testing?

No. Testing and certification stay with laboratories. The system stores the figures you give it.
