Customer Records for Electronics Dealers
A buyer of an appliance comes back for service, for a second set and for a warranty question. One record holds the address, the number and everything bought.
What a customer record holds
How follow-up works
Reminders are built from dates the record already holds, such as a warranty ending, an extended cover offer or a yearly service due on an air conditioner. The showroom picks a list and sends a WhatsApp or text message to it. Calls made and the answer given are noted against the buyer. Anyone who asks to stop hearing from the shop is marked.
Who uses it
What the dealer decides
- Which reminders go out and how far ahead
- Who may see a buyer’s phone number and address
- Whether staff may export a customer list
- How a request to stop messages is recorded
What the module does not do
It does not buy phone numbers and it does not send messages to a buyer who has asked for none. Consent is yours to take. What the showroom records, and how long old entries are kept, is decided with the dealer. A free technology audit can look at how your present register is held.
Frequently asked questions
Can a buyer be found by phone number?
Yes. The number, the name and an old bill number all open the same record.
Are sets from an earlier year listed?
Yes, where the old register was migrated. Purchases entered after go-live are listed from the bills themselves.
Who can see a customer address?
Only the roles the dealer allows, and our team sets that during implementation.
How is a do-not-disturb request kept?
It is marked on the record, and reminder lists then leave that buyer out.
