Appliance Dealer Software Views for Owners and Counter

An appliance showroom passes one sale through several hands, from the counter to the van and later to a service technician. A role reaches only the screens that its own work calls for.

One sale, five roles

Owners

Read sales by brand, stock lying in the godown, finance cases pending, exchange sets on hand and service calls still open. Branches can be compared side by side.

Counter staff

Quote from the price list, put a serial on to a bill, open a finance case and take in an exchange. The screen is built for a queue.

Delivery and fitting staff

See the day’s addresses, the sets to carry, the accessories that go with each one and the demo still to be given. Work is closed from a phone.

Service technicians

Read the jobs assigned, the fault reported, the warranty position on that serial and the spares drawn from the store.

Store and purchase staff

Receive cartons against orders, enter serials, raise transfers and watch models that have dropped below their level.

Through a showroom day

A buyer walks in asking about a front load machine, and the counter checks stock before quoting anything. A bill is raised with a finance case against it. The van leaves with a delivery note, and the fitter closes the installation at the house. By evening the owner reads the collection, the fittings still pending and the service jobs left open. Nothing has to be retyped.

At month end

The owner’s screen gathers sales by brand, finance payouts received, claims owed by the brands and service jobs closed. The accountant reads sales and purchase figures from the same entries. Store staff see what moved and what is standing. A manager at a second branch reads that counter only, while the owner reads both.

What the dealer decides

  • Which roles exist in each branch and who holds them
  • What a role may open, change, cancel or discount
  • Who may approve an exchange value or a waiver
  • Whether a branch manager sees the other branch
  • Who may see a buyer’s phone number and address

What roles do not settle

Access is a setting and not a substitute for working practice. Our team makes a change when you ask, and the first set of roles is agreed during implementation. Who should hold which role in your showroom is your call. Each entry is stamped with the staff member who saved it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a fitter work without a computer?

Yes. The day’s visits and the demo list open on a phone, and work is closed from there.

Does a technician see the finance case?

Not usually. A technician reads the fault, the serial and the warranty position rather than the payment side.

Who changes what a role can open?

Our team does it on request. The roles you open with are fixed at set-up, and changed afterwards when you ask.

Is a second branch visible to its manager only?

That is for the dealer to set. Owners read every branch together, and a manager can be held to one.
