GST Details Captured From Expense Bills
Vendor GSTIN, invoice number and the tax shown on the bill are recorded with each expense. Your CA reviews a list with detail behind every line and not a single total.
Bill detail kept with the expense
Hotel, fuel and courier bills each print a tax line. In a claim sheet they often become one figure under travel. A CA cannot work backwards from that figure without the bills. Here the tax detail is stored beside each claim.
Recorded with every claim
What your CA receives
- GST captured on expenses, listed for review
- The bill image against every line, openable
- Entries where a GSTIN is missing, so the gaps are clear
- The month exported as vouchers with your own ledger names
- Anything doubtful left for the CA to decide
Frequently asked questions
Does it decide our input tax credit?
No. It captures the GSTIN and the tax on the bill and lists them. What is eligible is a matter for your CA.
Is the GSTIN read from the photograph automatically?
No. The accounts assistant opens the claim beside the bill image and types what is printed on it. The step is manual so that every entry is checked by a person.
Will it verify a GSTIN against the portal?
No. The module holds what the bill says. Whether the vendor’s return matches is a reconciliation your CA runs in other tools.
Can the claimant enter the GST directly?
Yes. Accounts checks the entry against the image before payment, because a wrong GSTIN causes more trouble than a blank one.
