A Furniture CRM Built Around the Walk-In
Two people walk in on a Saturday, sit on four sofas, take a card and leave. Whether they come back has a lot to do with whether anybody writes their name down.
The enquiry register nobody reads
Names go into a register at the door, or into a salesperson’s phone, or nowhere. On Monday the owner asks how many people came in over the weekend. The answer is a guess, and the couple who liked the recliner are never called.
What sits on a customer record
How they reached you
Walk-in, phone call, a message on WhatsApp or a website enquiry, all landing in one list. You can see which source actually brings buyers.
What they came for
The room, the budget they said out loud and the models they liked. A salesperson picking up the enquiry next week is not starting from nothing.
A follow-up date
Every open enquiry carries a date to call back and the person who owns it. Today’s calls are a list, not a memory.
Everything they have bought
Past orders, what was delivered and when. The dining table bought three years ago is on screen when they come back for chairs.
Open quotes and old complaints
Before you call a customer, you can see the quote still pending and the recliner you repaired last year. It changes how the call goes.
Calling the right people at the right time
Past buyers can be grouped by what they bought, which is how a mattress offer reaches the people who bought beds.
- Enquiries by source, and which ones turned into orders
- Follow-ups due today, by salesperson
- Customers who bought over a year ago and have not returned
- Festive offers sent by SMS, email or WhatsApp to a chosen group
Frequently asked questions
Is this a full CRM or only an enquiry register?
It is a showroom CRM: enquiries, follow-ups, quotes, orders, deliveries and complaints on one customer record. There is no lead scoring or marketing automation, because furniture showrooms rarely need either.
Can salespeople use it on the floor?
Yes. It opens in a phone or tablet browser, so an enquiry can be logged while the customer is still sitting on the sofa. Most showrooms find that is the only way it gets done.
Who can see another salesperson’s customers?
That is set by you. Many owners let everyone see the records but keep the follow-up assigned to one person, so two salespeople do not ring the same family on the same evening.
