Attendance and Payroll for Furniture Showroom Staff
Attendance, shifts, leave and salaries are managed for sales staff, delivery crew and helpers. The same staff list also serves as the list of salespeople and crews used for orders and deliveries.
Three kinds of staff, one list
A showroom employs sales staff on the floor, a delivery crew and helpers who load and fit. Their working patterns differ. Sales staff follow showroom hours, while a crew follows the delivery plan. The system holds all three groups in one staff list, so attendance and pay sit beside the orders and trips that each person works on.
What the module manages
Link to sales and deliveries
Orders carry the salesperson, and sales are reported by salesperson. Delivery trips carry the crew assigned. Keeping staff in the same system means that all of these names come from a single list. What is paid on sales, if anything, is a decision for the showroom and is set up with the business.
What this module does not decide
- Pay rates, allowances and deductions, which the showroom sets
- Statutory deductions and filings, which the showroom’s accountant confirms
- Any incentive on sales, which is scoped only if the showroom wants it
Frequently asked questions
Does it cover delivery crew and helpers as well as sales staff?
Yes. Sales staff, delivery crew and helpers are all part of the module.
Can payroll figures go to the accountant?
Salary records are available to the accountant. The format and any export are agreed with the business during implementation.
Is payroll required to use the showroom system?
No. It is one of the modules, and a showroom can begin with stock, quotations and orders and add it later.
Who can see salaries?
Only the roles the owner allows. Access to payroll is set per person when logins are created.
