Furniture Showroom Software for Each Role
A furniture showroom needs the floor, the godown, the delivery crew and accounts to work from the same orders. Each role has its own screen and sees what it needs.
Who uses it
Showrooms with a separate warehouse, custom orders, several branches or their own delivery crew use the system, as do manufacturers with a retail showroom and home furnishing stores. The people involved differ in what they handle. Owners read the business as a whole. Salespeople and the godown handle single orders.
What each role sees
How one order passes between them
An enquiry is logged by a salesperson with the room, the budget and a call-back date. The quotation follows. Then come the order and the advance. The warehouse reserves a piece, delivery is booked with a date, a vehicle and a crew, and accounts collect the balance. Any complaint afterwards is logged against the original order.
What is set per person
- Which showrooms and warehouses each login can see
- Which staff may give discounts, and up to what limit
- Who can see pending balances and stock value
- Who can edit the catalogue and price lists
Frequently asked questions
Can a salesperson see pending balances?
That is set per role. The owner decides who sees balances, and this is agreed during implementation.
Does each role learn a separate screen?
Yes. Sales, store and delivery staff each learn their own screen during training, and the same team then handles changes and support after go-live.
Can the owner see everything?
Yes. Owners see sales, balances, stock value and deliveries across all of the showrooms.
Is a login needed for the delivery crew?
Delivery supervisors have their own screen to plan and record trips. Whether helpers need logins is decided with the showroom.
