Reports for Hair Salon Owners and Managers
These reports are drawn from the bookings, bills, colour records and stock that the front desk and stylists already enter. Owners read sales and commission, and managers read stock and chair use.
From the chair and the shelf to one view
A salon’s numbers usually sit in several places: the appointment book, the bill book, the commission notebook and a mental count of colour tubes. Each report here reads from the entries already made, so a question about a stylist or a shelf has one answer.
The reports
Who acts on them
The owner reads sales, commission and lapsed clients. The manager reads stock to reorder and chair use for the day. Reception reads the card balances and the list of clients to call. Stylists see only their own services and commission.
What the figures reflect
A report shows no more than the records beneath it. A service not marked done will not count toward commission, and a bottle not entered will not show in stock. The owner can ask for further reports on anything the system records, and the salon and our team work out what each one covers.
Frequently asked questions
Are the figures live?
Yes. They change as bills, bookings and stock entries are made, so the owner can read the day while it is still running and act on it before closing.
Can a manager see only one salon?
Yes. A manager can be limited to a single branch, while the owner reads across all of them and compares one salon with another.
Can a report be exported for the accountant?
Yes. Sales and commission reports can be downloaded. A direct link into Tally is scoped separately.
Can we add a report that is not on this list?
Yes, for anything the system already records. Any further reports are worked out with the salon at the start.
