Service Menu and Price List for Hair Salons

The menu lists every haircut, colour, smoothening, hair spa and grooming service the salon sells. Duration, price and stylist level set here drive the calendar, the bill and commission.

What a menu entry carries

A service is entered once and used everywhere. The calendar reads its duration. The invoice reads its price and the tax treatment the client’s accountant has chosen. Nothing is retyped.

Name and category

Services sit under heads such as haircut, colour, chemical treatment, hair spa, shave and beard, and bridal hair. Reception finds a service by category or by name. Both work.

Duration

A keratin service blocks hours, while a fringe trim blocks minutes. Longer services push the next booking down the column, so reception sees a realistic gap before offering a time to anyone.

Price by stylist level

A senior stylist and a junior can be priced differently for the same cut, and the salon decides how many levels it uses. Nobody has to remember a price list at the counter.

Length or add-on pricing

Colour and smoothening often cost more for longer hair. A price can be set by hair length or by add-on.

Price changes

A price change takes effect from a date the owner chooses, while bills already issued stay as they were. GullySystem staff update the price list when you ask. Nobody edits prices at the counter by mistake. Old and new prices never mix on one invoice.

Where the menu is used

  • The calendar blocks time by service duration.
  • The invoice picks up the price without retyping.
  • Commission rates attach to each service or category.
  • Colour services link to the colour record for the client.

What the client sets up

The software holds the menu the salon gives it. It does not suggest prices or decide which services to offer. The salon supplies the list, the durations and the levels, and tax rates on each service are confirmed with the accountant before go-live.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a barbershop use a short menu?

Yes. A men’s shop can keep a handful of services such as haircut, shave and beard trim, and add more later.

Can the same service have two prices?

Yes, by stylist level or by hair length, where the salon charges that way. The rule is entered with you at set-up. The invoice then picks the right price from the booking.

Who can change the menu?

Our team changes it on request from the owner. Staff at the counter use the menu. They cannot edit prices.
