Salon Software Views for Owners, Reception and Stylists
Each person in a hair salon sees the part of the booking and the bill that their work needs. Roles are set during implementation, so a stylist reads her own day and not the owner’s totals.
Who sees what
How roles limit the screen
A stylist does not see other stylists’ commission. Reception cannot change a price. A manager sees one branch while the owner sees all. These limits are set per role when the system is configured. Edits to the role list go through GullySystem staff when the owner asks.
Using it on a phone
- Stylists check the day’s clients and their notes.
- Managers read stock to reorder from the shop floor.
- Owners look at the day’s takings from wherever they are.
- Reception works from a computer at the counter.
What the owner decides
The owner decides which role may edit bills, give discounts or read another stylist’s notes. Some salons keep all of that with the owner and manager. The software applies the choices made at set-up and does not guess them.
Frequently asked questions
Can a stylist see her own commission?
Yes. She sees the services completed and the commission earned this month, along with her own attendance, and nothing about any other stylist’s pay.
Can the owner see every salon in one place?
Yes. The owner’s view reads across salons, while a manager’s view can be limited to one.
Does a stylist need a phone for this?
No. A shared screen at the front desk works, though a phone lets a stylist check her day and her clients’ notes without walking over to reception.
Who can change what a role sees?
Our team makes the change when the owner asks, so roles stay under the owner’s control.
