Appeals and Donation Drives for NGOs
A trust raises money in bursts, around a festival, a disaster, an annual day or a payroll giving tie-up. Each of those is held here as its own appeal.
What an appeal record holds
Sending the appeal out
Once a donor list is drawn, the message goes out over WhatsApp, text or email, with the wording the trust approves. Short messages carry a payment link where a gateway is connected. Volunteers working a street or a phone list see their own share of names, so two of them do not call the same giver twice in a week. Volunteer lists do not overlap.

What the trust decides
Message wording and appeal text stay with the trust. GullySystem sets up the fields and the sending, and makes no claim about how an appeal must be worded or registered.
- Which donors are drawn into each appeal list
- Whether a giver may be approached by more than one appeal in a month
- Who approves the message before it goes out
- Whether collection box totals are entered daily or at the close
Frequently asked questions
Can one appeal fund more than one programme?
Yes. An appeal can name several programmes, and the money is split at entry under the fund heads those programmes draw from.
Do payroll giving tie-ups fit this module?
Yes. A company tie-up is held as one appeal, with its employee givers listed and each monthly deduction receipted against them.
Will it stop duplicate calls to the same donor?
It shows the last contact on the donor record. Whether a second call is allowed in that period is a rule the trust sets.
