Manufacturing · PCB Manufacturer Management Software

One system for board orders, file revisions, lots, yields and test reports.

Record board enquiries, quotations, Gerber revisions, engineering queries, panel lots, process travellers, scrap and yield, electrical test results and shipments against one lot record. Every lot keeps its file revision, its stack-up and its date code. CAM, the planner, the process leads and the quality desk read the same lot, and the buyer’s paperwork comes from it.

  • Process route, panel sizes and surface finishes keyed in to match your shop
  • Open orders, lots and customer part numbers migrated
  • Traveller or test sheet edits done by our team whenever you ask

Bare board fabricators hold quotations, file revisions, engineering queries, panel lots and test reports in one system, set up by GullySystem around their process route. Each order carries its Gerber revision, stack-up and process traveller. Scrap and yield are recorded at each step, and the certificate of conformance and packing list come from the lot record.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Files change after CAM has started

Revision D arrives from the buyer after film for revision C exists. Which set a lot was imaged from is not recorded, and the error appears at test.

Queries stall the planner

Questions on clearances, drill sizes or impedance sit in email. The planner does not know which lots wait for a buyer’s answer.

Scrap is counted department by department

Drilling, plating, etching and routing each keep their own count. The true loss on a lot appears only when finance reconciles it.

Multilayer lamination cycles are not traced

A press load carries several lots. If a delamination shows later, nobody can list the lots that shared that cycle.

Surface finish and test records live apart

The finish used, the test programme and the failed board numbers sit in different tools. The certificate is built from memory and scraps.

Quotations ignore panel utilisation

Price depends on how many boards fit on a panel and how much laminate is cut away. Estimators quote by rule of thumb, so margins differ by job.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Enquiry and quotation

A buyer sends files and a fabrication note. The estimator checks layer count, size, finish and quantity, and prices from panel utilisation.

  2. 2

    CAM review

CAM checks clearances and drill data, raises engineering queries and lays out the panel. The order is released only after the buyer’s answers.

  3. 3

    Lot creation

A lot opens with the file revision, stack-up and a traveller by process step. Laminate and prepreg are issued against it.

  4. 4

    Process steps

Imaging, etch, lamination, drilling, plating, mask, legend, finish and routing are each logged with quantity in, quantity out and scrap reason.

  5. 5

    Test and inspection

Open and short test results are saved by board. Final inspection checks dimensions, finish and visual defects.

  6. 6

    Packing and shipment

Boards are counted, bagged and labelled with the date code. The certificate of conformance, test report and packing list are issued.

Modules

What is inside.

Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.

Enquiries and quotations

Price boards from layer count, size, panel utilisation, finish and quantity bands, with every revision of a quotation kept.

File revision register

Attach the Gerber set, drill file and fabrication note to the order with a revision letter, and show the floor only the released set.

Engineering queries

Raise a CAM question, send it to the buyer, record the answer and block the lot until the query is closed.

Stack-up and panel plans

Hold the laminate, prepreg and copper weight of each build, with boards per panel and panel size.

Lots and process travellers

Follow a lot from inner layer to routing, logging panels in, panels out and the operator who signed off each step.

Step scrap and running yield

Log scrap with a reason at the step where it happened, and read the running yield of a lot.

Plating bath and press logs

Link bath changes and lamination press loads to the lots that went through them, so a defect can be traced to its group.

Electrical test results

Store open and short outcomes per board, failed board numbers and rework decisions against the lot.

Material issue and laminate stock

Track laminate sheets, prepreg, copper foil and dry film from receipt to issue, with supplier lot numbers.

Certificates and dispatch

Print the certificate of conformance, test report and packing list from the lot, with date code and quantity per box.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Estimate/Quotation Management

Board prices come from layer count, panel utilisation, finish and quantity bands, and each revision of the quotation stays on file.

  • Project Document Management

The Gerber set, drill file and fabrication note are filed with a revision letter, so the floor works only from the released pack.

  • Workflow and Approvals

A CAM question goes to the buyer, the answer is recorded, and the lot cannot be released to the floor until it is closed.

  • Work Order Management

A lot moves from inner layer to routing with quantity in and out at each step and the operator who passed it.

  • Batch and Serial Tracking

Bath changes and lamination press loads are linked to the lots that passed through, so one defect leads to every lot exposed.

  • Quality Control

Open and short outcomes are stored per board with failed board numbers, and a lot with failures can be held before packing.

  • Stock Tracking and Alerts

Laminate sheets, prepreg and dry film are tracked from receipt to issue, and reorder alerts fire on the grades that run fastest.

  • Order Management

Confirmed board orders carry quantities and delivery dates through to the certificate, packing list and final shipment.

Services

How we would put it in.

Setup, data migration, integrations and anything built on top.

Who uses it

One system, each person sees their part.

For CAM engineers

Check files, raise queries, release the panel layout and see which orders wait on an answer.

For the planner

See every lot by process step, the bottleneck step today and the promised ship dates at risk.

For process leads

Log quantities in and out, scrap reasons and bath changes for imaging, plating or lamination.

For quality

Review test results, hold lots, and issue certificates with the right date code.

For the owner

Read yield by step, orders at risk and margin on a quoted job against the lot actually run.

Reports

The numbers the owner asks for.

  • Yield by process step, by week and by board type
  • Orders waiting on engineering queries
  • Scrap reasons for drilling, plating and etching
  • Lots affected by a given bath change or press load
  • Electrical test failures by lot and customer
  • Laminate and prepreg stock against open lots
  • Quoted against actual panel utilisation
Good fit

Who this is built for.

  • Fabricators of rigid double-sided and multilayer boards
  • Prototype and quick-turn board shops
  • Makers of boards with controlled impedance or heavy copper
  • Fabricators who also offer flexible or aluminium base boards
  • Board makers who ship to assemblers and need lot-level test records
Honest answer

When it is not the right choice.

Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Process route

Your steps, including any outside process such as gold plating, are set as templates for each board type.

Panel sizes and finishes

The panel sizes you cut, laminate grades you stock and finishes you offer, such as HASL, ENIG or OSP, are entered first.

Test programme import

The way your electrical tester exports results is reviewed so board-level outcomes can come in as a file.

Open orders migrated

Running jobs, buyers’ part numbers and earlier lots come in from the records you keep, then planning samples a few.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

Does it replace our CAM software?

No. CAM stays where it is. The order holds each file set with its revision, and open engineering queries are logged beside it.

Can one panel lot carry boards of different part numbers?

Yes, if you build mixed panels. The lot records the part numbers and quantities on it, and each is followed to its own shipment.

How are impedance coupons handled?

The coupon result is entered or imported for the lot and shown on the test report. The measurement itself is done on your own equipment.

Can the buyer see where a lot is?

A status link or email can show the buyer the step a lot has reached. What is shown is chosen during implementation.

What if a lot is split at a step?

A split creates two child lots with their own quantities, linked to the parent. Scrap and shipment follow each child.

Do operators need a PC at each station?

A shared tablet or a barcode scanner at the step is enough. Lots are pulled up by scanning the traveller.

How long does moving our order history take?

It depends on how many orders you keep in sheets. The planner checks a sample of lots and customer part numbers before go-live.

How is the cost worked out?

There is no list figure. Users, process steps and any test machine import all shape the quote. We first demonstrate on one of your boards and put the quotation in writing afterwards.
